Royal Caribbean Group’s Marketing Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Account Executive, Trade Marketing reporting to the Director, Marketing NA & Strategic Partners
This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
The Sr. Account Executive in Trade Marketing supports the production of marketing collateral and trade email for the travel agent channel. This role supports all travel agent tools including Marketing Central, Silversea Academy, Rallio for social media, Approach Guides and especial projects as determined by management. The Sr. Account Executive ensures that all brand messaging is accurate and consistent across marketing materials, maintains calendars, creates and updates presentations, and collaborates with Sales Teams to ensure that they have the proper assets and tools to sell Silversea and positioned travel agents successfully. Since this position handles the day-to-day production of the trade email program, ensures communications are properly briefed, and managed to produce strong open rates and click through rates. The Sr. Account Executive works closely with internal Creative Team, Sales Teams and other stakeholders within Marketing at Silversea.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executing established marketing plans to support production of content for Trade Tools. This includes and is not limited to maintaining Marketing Central, Silversea Academy, Approach
- Guides, Rallio for Social Media. Coordinates the creation of landing pages for trade campaigns.
- Manages the day-to-day Trade email calendar, writes briefs, collaborates with other teams to ensure the message to trade channel is clear.
- Updates trade marketing collateral including Power Point presentations for sales teams, write Marketing Alerts and communicates global brand campaigns, launches and promotions to
- trade sales channels, and seldom to travel agencies as required by the business.
- Supports the scheduling and development of monthly trade webinars, including slides development, working with technology tools, and follows on metrics.
- Participates in weekly and monthly calls with internal stakeholders, takes summary notes and follows through on delivery of content based on deadlines established.
- Creates and updates PowerPoint presentations for external and internal use following established brand toolkits. Ensure presentations are brand centric.
- Responsible for maintaining relationships with warehouse/fulfillment vendors where brochure inventory is maintained.
- Updates the marketing planning tool (Wrike) to ensure all projects are properly recorded and accounted for with due dates. Maintains tool updated to ensure reports are accurate. Follows through established Wrike workflows and involves other team members as needed for flawless execution. Ensure that all final assets are properly filed and shared with global markets.
- Creates briefs to produce marketing assets as required by the business which includes but not limited to flyers, brochures, and postcards.
- As required by the business, this position provides support for trade events and specific marketing requests from Field Sales team. For trade events, works closely with other team members within RCG to ensure flawless execution.
- Leverages marketing, analytics, and sales operations to drive marketing plans to fruition to help exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Sales, Business, or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and/or sales experience.
- 3-5 years of corporate experience in Marketing, Sales, or Consumer Marketing, ideally within the travel industry, cruise experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of marketing operations and production across various mediums (digital, social, print, etc.).
- Creative thinker with the ability to anticipate partner needs and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Proactive, results-driven, and solutions-oriented—always looking for ways to improve and get things done.
- Highly organized with excellent time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and writing skills, confident in presenting ideas and marketing concepts effectively.
- Able to collaborate effectively across teams using various communication methods.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and adapting quickly to changing marketplace conditions.
- High accountability with a strong capacity and energy to accomplish a lot in a day.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to act proactively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the cruise industry or at a creative agency is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI tools a plus.
