Position Summary
The Project Associate, HR Business Partnering will play a critical role in supporting the execution of strategic HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects across Celebrity Cruises and Silversea brands. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, HR Business Partnering, this individual will be responsible for project management, ensuring alignment between HR strategies and business objectives, and driving efficiency in HR processes.
This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting and be passionate about delivering HR solutions that enhance the employee experience and support business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution & Business Alignment:
- Support the Senior Manager, HR Business Partnering in implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business needs.
- Act as a key liaison between HR and business stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of HR programs.
- Analyze HR data and business metrics to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on workforce trends, engagement surveys, and organizational needs.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects for both Celebrity Cruises and Silversea, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with HR and business objectives.
- Utilize project management methodologies to track milestones, risks, and deliverables for HR initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes, policies, and systems, and work cross-functionally to implement improvements.
- Support change management efforts, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and initiatives across brands.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, and business leaders to support the execution of key initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate project updates, HR metrics, and insights.
- Facilitate meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-ups to maintain project momentum.

Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project management, HR, or a related function.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, processes, and best practices.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Project Management certification (PMP, Six Sigma, or similar) is preferred but not required.
- Exercises influence with business clients and HR COE’s.
- Persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Critical and conceptual thinking to drive objectivity and data-based decision making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to find alternative solutions to business inquiries, as appropriate.
