This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Product Owner to join our team. The Product Owner will play a crucial role in understanding travel platforms, gathering requirements, collaborating with the Brand Engagement team, and supporting the Product team in decision-making and prioritization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand New and Existing Travel Platforms
- Conduct thorough analysis of current and new travel platforms to understand their functionality and features.
- Engage with Brand Engagement Team
- Collaborate with the Brand Engagement team to gather their inputs on how they will use the platform.
- Document their requirements and ensure alignment with overall product goals.
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation
- Write detailed requirements in terms of features, user stories, and identify any gaps.
- Capture and document how the new platform will be utilized by various stakeholders.
- Workshop Participation and Documentation
- Conduct workshops independently after aligning with Product team goal.
- Capture detailed notes and document outcomes from workshops.
- Support Business Decision-Making
- Documenting business decisions made with inputs from the Brand team.
- Ensure all decisions are well-documented and communicated clearly.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with the Brand team during UAT to test the system and ensure it meets business requirements.
- Document End-to-End (E2E) Processes
- Help document E2E processes with inputs from the Brand team to ensure comprehensive coverage and understanding.
- Refinement Sessions
- Attend and drive refinement sessions.
- Help clarify and refine user stories and requirements during these sessions.
- Data Support
- Build and prioritize agendas for sprint planning and refinement sessions.
- Reporting
- Assist in tracking and reporting on the progress of project delivery, ensuring key milestones and timelines are met.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to document requirements and processes clearly and concisely.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with travel platforms is a plus.
- Attributes:
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
