Paid Media Senior Account Executive

The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruise Brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Paid Media Senior Account Executive reporting to the Marketing Team.

 

This position will be working on-site from Miami, Florida. 

 

Position Summary:

The role will focus on driving business goals through paid digital media execution across various mediums, with specific attention to paid social media.  The role will need to be well versed on Celebrity’s guest segmentation strategy and manage to a full marketing campaign calendar in order to meet critical deadlines. The person in this role will need to be well versed in digital marketing strategies and technologies and stay abreast of competitive landscape.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • TEAM PARTNERSHIP & COLLABORATION: The role will work closely with internal and external teams to execute against tactical initiatives with constant eye on results and calibration to maximize performance. Drive Paid Social innovation within the team – identify and/or build tools to improve automation, identify and spearhead the testing of new betas, keep abreast of market trends and developments from social platforms. This role will also work closely with the organic social and creative teams on campaign initiatives, concepts, and asset creation to support campaigns.

 

  • PLANNING & EXECUTION:  This position will support the media team with annual/ongoing Brand & Retail strategy development, planning, forecasting, and briefing for paid social media. Creates and leads briefings to internal teams for timely execution of media campaigns. Appropriately integrates organic social to meet holistic marketing goals.

 

  • TESTING & OPTIMIZATION: You'll partner with counterpart channel specialists, agency team, internal creative teams, measurement, analytics, and marketing stakeholder teams to deliver end to end execution and performance management of campaigns. Plan regular cadence of testing and optimization programs designed to drive continuous improvement around core KPIs. Regularly pulls platform and MTA partner reporting to assess campaign performance. Pressure tests weekly Agency optimization recommendations.  Works with Business Intelligence on testing opportunities.

 

  • REPORTING & COMMUNICATION: Work with Manager on implementing ongoing cadence of reporting for internal stakeholders. Dig into agency reports to ensure alignment to internal goals and strategy. Responsible for attending weekly status and reporting calls with media agency as well assuring accuracy on reporting data.

 

  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Own the day-to-day changes, and overall paid social budgets. Work with agencies ensure pacing to month and quarter as well as monthly budget forecast.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

 

    • Bachelor's degree required, preferable in Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration.

 

    • Minimum of 5 years digital media experience.

 

    • Minimum 3 years of paid social platform experience at an enterprise level across all social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, X, et.)  Expert level understanding of targeting/optimization levers & testing approaches across all social buying platforms.

 

    • You are passionate about using data to develop A/B testing campaigns and have previous experience driving profitable campaigns with budgets above $100K/ month.

 

    • Expert on paid social full funnel marketing strategy and tactics. Ability to build strategic tailored plans to reach target audiences and deliver media objectives.

 

    • Strong understanding of marketing attribution & alternative measurement methodologies, such as MTA and MMM.

 

    • Meta Blueprint certifications in Ad Buying/ Advertising. Knowledge of digital marketing technology, including marketing automation, predictive analytics, personalization, and segmenting tools.

 

    • Strong data analysis, visualization, and presentation skills; understanding of how to tailor communications to stakeholders with various levels of digital media literacy.

 

    • Experience across other paid digital media including programmatic/ display/video/CTV/OTT or paid social is a plus.

 

    • Experience supporting consumer brands especially travel or hospitality.

 

    • Experience working with media agency.

 

    • Must be highly organized and punctual.

 

    • Must be agile.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

    • International experience a plus
