The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruise Lines Inc. brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Media Manager on the Digital Marketing Team reporting to the Director of Media.

 

This position sits on-site in Miami, FL.

 

Position Summary:

The Media Manager is responsible for building superior integrated media capabilities with day-to-day management of full funnel paid media campaigns. The media manager will use data and analysis to identify strategic optimizations across all channels working closely with our internal SME’s media team and agency partner to unlock opportunities. The manager is actively involved in planning, content recommendations, insights, and campaign management. The ideal candidate has experience in leading strategy, optimizing budgets, and scaling across paid media platforms and channels.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages integrated media planning and execution of comprehensive paid media strategies to promote brand and products, including objective setting, audience development, and channel/ tactic/ partner selection alongside media AOR. Understand nuances for planning, execution and reporting for each digital and traditional tactic. Full funnel media includes linear TV and CTV, Programmatic (CTV/ OTT/OLV/Display), digital audio, OOH, paid social and SEM. 
  • Expertise in analyzing paid media performance data, forecasting, assessing key KPIs across a full funnel media mix.
  • Leverage data analytics tools to gather insights, supervise key metric and generate recommendations to improve campaign efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Deep dive using full funnel analytics tools such as MTA and MMM models, and measurement such as Kantar Millward Brown, ispot, EDO, etc. 
  • Manage strategic workstreams with the goal of maximizing the added value we receive from our media partners.
  • Develop QBR meeting timeline(s) & agenda(s) for top media partners, maximizing face time & value across each partnership. (Yahoo, Amazon, WBD, etc).
  • Craft strategies and tests to gather learnings against emerging media trends, while pushing innovation agenda with those key strategic media partners.
  • Implements A/B testing framework across channels for future testing.
  • Must be comfortable analyzing large sets of data to provide performance insights and future testing opportunities. 
  • Apply advanced targeting and segmentation strategies to reach and engage specific audience segments.
  • Manager is well versed in 1st and 3rd party data capabilities and works across agency partners to maximize performance based on data results.
  • Partners with our Business Intelligence team to best leverage our 1st party data and ensure best-in class digital testing opportunities through our CDP. 
  • Lead collaboration with internal teams such as creative services, social/PR teams, brand marketing and strategy, as well as the external media AOR for activation and optimizations across all channels.
  • Ensures strategic direction and tactics are being executed cross-platforms and channels. 
  • The role will need to be well versed on Celebrity’s guest segmentation strategy and plan accordingly to the marketing calendar to meet critical deadlines. Works with brand research team to ensure alignment, with eye on KPIs and results.
  • Drive media innovation. Passionate about the ever-evolving media landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Maintain pulse on marketplace and trends to provide actionable insights and direction.  
  • Performs other duties and projects as required.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of media experience with hands-on paid media experience, especially in planning and managing digital and traditional campaigns or trading/buying in programmatic platforms.
  • Proven large-scale, full-funnel media management track record with demonstrated results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot.
  • Experience working with a media agency or in-house marketing team. 
  • Hands on experience in paid media platforms working with DSPs, paid social platforms, Google AdWords/GDN, etc. 
  • A self-stater that thrives in a fast-paced environment and capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft apps, namely Excel (create charts and pivot tables, run and create functions, etc) and PowerPoint (designing slides, implementing design features, using custom templates, etc).
  • Experience in Adobe Analytics and/or Adobe Audience Manager.
  • Additional knowledge or experience with DV360 preferred.
  • Knowledge with Nielsen, Google Analytics, Tableau, Tealium are a plus.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Has demonstrated a strong attention to detail and accuracy in previous position(s).
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage continual change, be flexible, and deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Displays a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience supporting consumer brands especially travel, hospitality or luxury brands.
  • International experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferable in Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration
