Position Summary

The Manager is the business-side owner accountable for commercial strategy, governance, stakeholder alignment, legal/brand guardrails, prioritization, and realized outcomes of PCP pricing, promotions, and targeted offer automation. This role ensures automated capabilities deliver tangible value across a highly complex commercial surface area (20M+ potential price points annually across 500+ products per sailing and 2,500+ sailings) and mitigates operational and brand risk by enforcing clear decision rights, guardrails, and measurement discipline.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the PCP automation strategy across pricing, promotions, and targeted offers: define objectives, success metrics, and rollout sequencing across product categories and brands.
  • Translate strategic priorities into a ranked use-case backlog (e.g., retargeting, distressed inventory, last-minute deals, cross-sell/upsell) and govern tradeoffs across stakeholders.
  • Establish and enforce commercial governance: pricing/discount guardrails, segmentation rules, approval workflows, and exception handling to protect brand integrity and reduce risk.
  • Partner with Legal/Compliance to define and maintain legal and ethical guardrails, especially around segmentation and targeted discounts vs personalized pricing. [
  • Serve as final business approver for automation policies, go-live readiness, and major parameter changes.
  • Own the measurement framework: ensure rigorous A/B testing, uplift modeling, and readouts become standard operating practice and drive iteration cycles.
  • Review performance regularly with leadership; drive corrective actions when automation underperforms or introduces operational risk.
  • Lead the business interface across Onboard Revenue, Marketing/E-commerce, Digital, AI/Data, Revenue Planning/Finance, and Operations, ensuring shared understanding of goals, constraints, and timelines.
  • Provide clear business requirements and acceptance criteria to delivery teams; ensure releases are usable, supported, and operationalized.
  • Own the operating model for scaled execution: QA processes, documentation, training, support paths, and ongoing backlog management so deployments do not stall and adoption remains high.
  • Ensure the tooling and process reduce manual work and error rates that come from complex promotion setup and frequent updates.
  • Manage and develop analysts supporting automation analytics and execution; set clear expectations for outcomes, quality, and stakeholder partnership. (If no direct reports initially, act as functional lead/mentor.)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 6–10+ years in revenue management, pricing, promotions, e-commerce monetization, or commercial analytics with demonstrated cross-functional leadership.
  • Proven experience owning a business roadmap/backlog, governance model, and performance management (test-and-learn).
  • Strong fluency with data and analytics; able to challenge models, interpret results, and make business tradeoffs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication; ability to drive alignment across competing priorities
  • Comfort with analytics tooling (Excel/Power BI and enterprise planning/reporting tools); understands system-enabled pricing/promo execution environments.
