The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Hotel Finance, Onboard Revenue and G&A on the Finance Team reporting to the Director, Finance.

 

Position Summary:

 

This position is primarily responsible for managing the team and supporting all aspects of financial and administrative functions for the Hotel Operations and the Onboard Revenue teams.

 

Areas of focus include managing the forecast, planning, and recurring reporting to team and fleet; identifying opportunities to improve finance reports through detailed analysis and developing enhanced reporting processes where needed (Hotel, Onboard Revenue, and G&A). This person will also be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the team members in their support functions including training and development.

 

This position requires outstanding communication and analytical skills (including financial analysis), and business acumen. Effective communication to Senior Management and the respective operational groups is critical to the success of this position. 

 

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage P&L lines within Hotel Expenses yearly budget of ~$670M as well as OBR yearly budget of ~$820M
  • Manage P&L lines for Hotel / Onboard Revenue Operations / G&A
  • Become a finance partner to operational leadership for both Hotel and Onboard Revenue
  • Identify and develop analytical tools being scalable to support efficient business growth and reports to expedite Finance analysis and communication/reporting to Sr Management.
  • Create and maintain accurate management report and analysis for G&A, Onboard Revenue, and Hotel Expenses.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to produce accurate forecasts, record, and analyze actual performance, identifying plan of action to address variances.
  • Conduct analyses including volume/rate relationships. Analyze financial data and develop profit optimization strategies with the operational team.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing benchmark reports for operating groups.
  • Responsible for "special project" initiatives with senior management audiences.
  • Assist in timely operational and financial decision making.
  • Work in tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • B.A in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Five to eight years of related financial or business analysis experience.
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel User.
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics and Visualization software such as PowerBI.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate and organize.
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations along with strong operational focus.
  • Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cruise or Hospitality experience preferred.
