The Royal Caribbean Group’s Global E-Commerce has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, CRM & Data Systems reporting to the Director, CRM & Data Systems.


This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.


Position Summary:

 

As a Manager, CRM & Data Systems - you will play a key role in overseeing the development and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud while managing a team of developers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 

1. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand marketing objectives and translate them into effective Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Provide strategic leadership in the development and enhancement of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of complex journeys, automations, and email campaigns.

2. Team Leadership

  • Manage and inspire a team of developers, providing guidance and support - monitor and analyze.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on achieving marketing automation   excellence

3. Campaign Management

  • Develop and execute automated marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive engagement, and achieve marketing goals.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.

4. Data Management and Integration

  • Ensure data integrity within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and integrate data seamlessly from various sources to support personalized marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with IT teams to implement data integration solutions and troubleshoot any data-related issues.

5. Technical Expertise

  • Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to marketing teams in leveraging the full potential of the platform.

6. Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align marketing automation strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate team members on Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities.

7. Quality Assurance

  • Conduct thorough testing of marketing automation workflows, ensuring accuracy and optimal performance.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of flawless marketing campaigns.  

Qualifications and Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Automation Specialist, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Leadership experience in a marketing automation role, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration and scripting languages like AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, customer journeys, and lead nurturing strategies. - Familiarity with data management and integration processes.
  • Excellent team leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Knowledge and Skills:

 

1. Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Proficient in configuring and optimizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud features.
  • Knowledge of AMPscript for scripting personalized content and SQL for querying data.

2. Marketing Automation

  • Understanding of marketing automation principles and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automated marketing campaigns.

3. Data Management

  • Knowledge of data management processes within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with integrating data from diverse sources for personalized marketing.

4. Team Leadership

  • Leadership skills to inspire and guide a team of developers.
  • Experience fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture

5. Technical Expertise

  • Stay updated on the latest features and updates in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to marketing automation.

6. Campaign Management

  • Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Analytical skills to monitor and optimize campaign performance.

7. Communication

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  •  Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

8. Problem Solving

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement in marketing automation processes.

9. Analytical Skills

  • Analytical mindset to interpret campaign data and derive actionable insights.
  • Use data-driven approaches to optimize marketing strategies.

10. Collaboration

  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and IT teams.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate team members on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

11. Quality Assurance

  • Implement quality assurance processes for marketing automation workflows.
  • Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of marketing campaigns through testing.

12. Adaptability

  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices.
  • Flexibility to adjust strategies based on changing business requirements.

 

Internal and External Relationships:

 

  • This role will interact with product owners throughout the organization in the following departments in an effort to gather requirements around reporting needs: eCommerce, Marketing.

 

Physical Requirements:
