Royal Caribbean Group’s Supply Chain Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Supplier Relationship Management reporting to the Project Manager
Position Summary / Job Purpose:
We are seeking a high-impact SRM Lead to support the rollout and execution of our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program across key strategic suppliers.
This role will partner with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to drive supplier performance, value creation, and strategic collaboration across a multi-billion-dollar supply base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Supplier Management

Manage relationships with top-tier strategic suppliers (e.g., global technology partners with $10M+ spend)

Serve as a primary point of contact between suppliers and internal stakeholders

Build and maintain strong, trust-based supplier partnerships
2. QBR & Governance Execution
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs):
- Develop executive-ready materials and insights
- Align internal stakeholders ahead of meetings
- Track outcomes and follow-ups
- Ensure adherence to SRM governance frameworks and cadence
3. Value Creation & Performance Management

Identify and drive value creation opportunities, including:
- Cost savings and cost avoidance
- Process improvements
- Innovation initiatives

Implement and manage supplier performance scorecards

Monitor and address supplier risks and performance gaps
4. Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner with Procurement, IT, Finance, Legal, and Operations

Drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure consistent supplier strategy

Support executive-level discussions and decision-making
5. Program Development & Expansion

Support expansion of SRM across additional categories

Contribute to continuous improvement of SRM frameworks, tools, and templates

Help scale the program into a best-in-class capability
Education and Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. Relevant certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
Desired Experience

5–7+ years in:
- Supplier Management / Vendor Management
- Procurement / Strategic Sourcing
- Consulting or Program Management in complex environments

Experience managing large, strategic vendor relationships ($5M+ spend)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in ERP environments (Oracle, Supplier Portal, Apex, etc.)

Familiarity with supplier segmentation models (e.g., Kraljic)

Experience with QBRs and supplier governance frameworks
Knowledge and Skills

Ability to effectively present information and communicate with all levels of Management

Excellent interpersonal skills

Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations

Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently

Ability to solve problems and deal with complex variables where limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals / SOPs

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from suppliers and all levels of staff and management, both shipboard and shoreside.
