This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
The Lead, Social Media Art Direction will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, focusing on art direction, filming, and creating engaging content across platforms. This role requires expertise in social media management, content creation, video editing, and graphics, all aligned with our brand’s goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership:

Lead the global social media creative strategy with a focus on art direction, filming, and content development, aligned with company goals and audience needs.

Collaborate with marketing, product, and consumer insights to understand audience personas, industry trends, and customer pain points to inform content creation.
Content Development:

Oversee a team to develop and maintain a content capture calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across various platforms.

Manage the creation of short-form stories and multi-media content for social media, ensuring high-quality visual and verbal alignment with brand standards.

Strategize, package, and present compelling narratives that resonate with our audience to build the brand.
Team Management:

Supervise social designers, writers, editors, producers, and other collaborators to efficiently deliver a consistent stream of content.

Provide guidance on filming techniques, equipment usage, and content creation best practices.
Performance Monitoring:

Track content performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.

Provide weekly reporting and status updates to supervisors and executives as needed.
Collaboration and Innovation:

Partner with the Creative Director and Head of Social Media to ensure a unified visual and verbal social media presence.

Work with the PR and Content teams to build engaging content supporting PR and communication efforts.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and content marketing best practices.
Additional Responsibilities:

Establish an influential voice in shaping the growth of the Silversea brand.

Enable go-to-market team members to leverage content to engage prospective customers.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Experience and Expertise:
-
5+ years’ experience in content marketing and/or social media roles with a strong focus on creative direction.

Proven experience creating and directing multi-media content production for social media.

Comfortable crafting written, design, and video content.
Technical Skills:

Experience shooting short-form social content on iPhone or DSLR camera, ensuring premium quality in lighting, sound, and camera angles.

Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite Products.

Organizational Skills:
-
Hyper-organized with the ability to manage resources, timelines, technology, and people to accomplish objectives.

Experience creating and managing detailed timelines.
Communication and Leadership:

Strong critical decision-making and excellent communication skills.

Cross-functional leadership expertise in a fast-paced and complex environment.
