This position will be working onsite from Miami. 

 

Position Summary: 

Through the lens of the Celebrity Leading Edge Development (XLED) program, the Sales Development Lead is responsible for creating, implementing, and facilitating programs to grow Celebrity Cruises sales team members to foster growth, innovation, and organization effectiveness.  In collaboration with the sales leaders and the HR and Talent teams, this individual is responsible for assessing needs, designing curriculum, delivering workshops, and coaching, to drive appropriate solutions, recruitment, development, and retention strategies and initiatives across the sales organization.

   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Needs Assessment & Strategy: Assess organizational and individual leadership needs to align development efforts with strategic business objectives. Includes but not limited to developing and maintaining recruitment strategies (including managing assessment tools) for all roles as requested within the Sales organization of Celebrity Cruises.
  • Program Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain leadership development content and programs using instructional design principles and software. Programs include but are not limited to Walk In My Shoes (WIMS), Mentoring Program, Elevating Xcellence, Sales Competency and Productivity Master Classes, etc.
  • Content Creation: Develop training materials, workshops, and tools for various leadership levels and initiatives. 
  • Facilitation & Coaching: Deliver and facilitate leadership courses, workshops, and both team and individual coaching sessions for employees and management. 
  • Program Implementation & Evaluation: Manage the rollout of leadership development programs and assess their effectiveness and impact, using data analysis to produce and report on actionable information to leadership
  • Collaboration & Support: Work with Sales Leadership, HR and other departments to integrate development initiatives into the broader employee experience, including onboarding, succession planning, and continued development.
  • Stay Current: Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in leadership development, coaching, and adult learning. 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, psychology, leadership development, or a related field 
  • Minimum 5 years’ training, coaching and/or leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated track record of assessing needs, aligning learning strategies and programs to organizational strategy, and realizing measurable business impact
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to design and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions. 
  • Deep knowledge of organizational development interventions and the ability to link talent to organizational culture. 
  • Competence in individual and group coaching methodologies. 
  • Strong consulting, project management and organizational skills to manage program rollouts. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships, encourage collaboration, work cross-functionally, and coach others through sensitive issues to develop positive and significant outcomes.
  • Experience with multiple learning modalities, such as instructor-led, self-paced and more
  • Demonstrated strong initiative and drive, alongside a passion for delivering great learning experiences
  • Proficient and effective facilitation skills.
  • In addition, the incumbent must have the ability to:
    • Effectively build relationships and encourage collaboration to generate positive outcomes.
    • Manage change, anticipates needs, and makes recommendations for improvement.
    • Travel approximately 20% of the time
    • Use effective questioning and listening skills.
    • Develop KPIs, analyze data to report performance metrics, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
    • Identify training needs, conduct research, draw upon a variety of resources, propose targeted and creative solutions, and translate ideas into action.
