The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Revenue Strategy reporting to the Manager, Commercial Strategy.

 

 

Position is onsite and based in Miami, FL 

 

The Lead, Revenue Strategy is a member of the Revenue Strategy team responsible for driving revenue growth initiatives that deliver approximately $50M annually through managing ancillary revenue programs (such as Paid Upgrades, Global Travel Insurance, Air Pricing & Promotion, Non-Refundable Deposit Programs, and other new revenue initiatives) and partnering with the Product Development team to inform revenue opportunities for new programs. They own reporting, measurement of initiative effectiveness, and accurate forecasting of future growth opportunities based on recent and historic trends to appropriately set targets at the market and channel level. In addition, this role uses technical knowledge assembling large data sets, building and maintaining dashboards and reporting, driving sourcing and channel strategies to support Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management efforts, and delivering executive-ready presentations. The Lead, Revenue Strategy will collaborate closely with Revenue Management product and strategy teams, Domestic and International Sales, Marketing, IT, Celebrity brand leadership, Contact Center Teams, Accounting, and Hotel Operations. 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead ancillary revenue programs and external partnerships; drive toward annual target.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new revenue opportunities; build business cases with long-term financial impact; partner with Product Development.
  • Develop and maintain tools and automated reporting for Revenue Management Ancillary and Incremental Revenue, incl. Power BI dashboards and data models.
  • Analyze performance, forecast growth from trends, set market/channel targets; provide recurring Senior Leadership updates.
  • Lead change management; define plans; secure cross-functional alignment and drive execution.
  • Manage RM team relationships to establish and improve best practices for new initiatives.
  • Leverage data to deliver insights; translate into clear narratives and executive-ready presentations.
  • Manage timelines and meetings; ensure on-time delivery; monitor milestones, risks, dependencies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, RM Product, IT, and others to optimize sourcing and channel strategies; ensure goal alignment.
  • Provide recurring performance updates to Senior Leadership; adjust plans as needed.
  • Drive growth with an entrepreneurial mindset; operate with limited supervision; identify automation opportunities.
  • Assemble large data sets; ensure quality and accessibility for decision-making.
  • Identify and implement internal process improvements; optimize reporting structures and workflows.
  • Maintain/improve reporting framework; deliver timely analytics; standardize metrics and KPIs.
  • Create executive decks and summaries of key results.
  • Focus on data visualization; automate workloads to speed and improve analytics.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in of experience in Revenue Management, Finance, or related field 
  • Experience with building and maintaining Excel models 
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate key stories utilizing PowerPoint to upper management 
  • Proactive work style with the ability to work independently with limited direction 
  • Strong analytic skills  
  • Able to illustrate and communicate commercial opportunities 
  • Interest in data visualization and/or Power BI 
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally 
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team. 
  • Demonstrate a certain degree of creativity with analytical and problem-solving skills
