The Royal Caribbean Group’s Onboard Revenue Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Pre - Cruise Revenue reporting to the Senior Manager, Precruise Revenue.
Position Summary
The Lead of Pre - Cruise Revenue will be responsible for evolving and advancing promotional and pricing strategy for products developed on the platform for Royal Caribbean International (e.g. Beverage, Dining). This role will report to the Sr. Manager Pre - Cruise Revenue and will be directly responsible for dynamic pricing and the development of one-to-one targeted offers. The position will work closely with the Onboard Revenue Analytics, Data Science, and Digital teams to develop and implement analytical tools and predictive models.
The successful candidate is proactive and possesses a driving nature to provide significant commercial value to onboard revenue and hotel operations. This candidate should have strong communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and strong technical skills, in addition to organizational and people management capabilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evolves pricing to maximize revenue while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Leverages performance data and works closely with stakeholders to establish product and sailing level targets that ensure total Net Shipboard Revenue goals are met for a portfolio of products on the platform.
- Partners effectively with the Manager of Onboard Revenue Analytics & Data Science to develop dynamic pricing models, tracks, and other analytical tools.
- Makes pricing recommendations to meet targets.
- Owns transition to dynamic and then fully automated pricing.
- Supports personalization efforts and targeted offers—leverages performance and passenger level data to create a robust offer bank, business rules and triggers.
- Works closely with internal Digital, Data Science and IT teams and with external consultants to support the evolution of precruise revenue and accelerate APP revenue growth—contributes to successful implementation of app enhancements, pricing automation, marketing personalization and other related projects.
- Works with various teams to identify opportunities for capital investment in digital, marketing, and product investments to drive incremental revenue.

Knowledge and Skills
- Business and Commercial Acumen.
- Strong decision-making experience, critical thinking, cost/benefit analysis, using logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches.
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
- Knowledge of Hyperion, SQL, Visual Basic, Essbase and business intelligence tools preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills should include financial modeling, broad exposure to operations research and statistics.
- Ability to interact at all levels within the organization and to influence and deliver results without the benefit of direct reporting lines.
- Strong ability to interact with senior management team and build effective relationships within the company as well as with internal and external customers.
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills a must. Clear and precise communication at all levels of the organization essential.
Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred; minimum 5 years related financial and business analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
- Strong computer and analytical skills are required.
Financial Responsibilities.
- Responsible for delivering and growing global revenue goals - 2025: $1.9B Gross Pre - Cruise Revenue.
