The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Food and Beverage Operations on the Hotel Operations Team reporting to the Sr. Manager, Restaurant Operations.

 

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida

 

Position Summary:

 

This position has the management and developmental responsibility for the Celebrity Cruises Food and Beverage operation shipboard and shoreside. This position will be directly responsible to manage a wide range of projects in support of the Food and Beverage operations, Including private destinations. 

This lead will focus on day-to-day operations, supporting F&B Team with Elevating Celebrity Way, Safety and Injury prevention new CSD strategy, new restaurant concepts, maximizing specialty restaurants revenue streams, food and beverage initiatives, launch of Xdining for Celebrity Fleet, Groups and Charters being the main contact between the client, shoreside and shipboard operation, F&B aspects of new building coordination, policy and procedures changes including SOPs, gatekeeper for all results-orientated data.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Ability to operate in a team environment.
  • Know Celebrity Cruises F&B operation.
  • Make recommendations, suggestions to improve the Food & Beverage operation.
  • Knowledgeable about Celebrity Cruises onboard products.
  • Demonstrate a friendly personality, strong knowledge of restaurant operations and overall F&B, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Design Food & Beverage training programs and train crew members as needed.
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Understand the needs of each restaurant according to concept.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Have minimum 6 years of experience in F&B
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manner
  • Should be a self-starter and be able to fulfill responsibilities with little direction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a global environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities at once
  • Willingness to accept the immediate product and project responsibility
  • Possess the skills on Excel, PowerPoint, any Graphic design program-basic

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience and/or training in the hospitality field is considered a plus.
  • Cruise industry experience is a plus
