Royal Caribbean Group’s Global E-commerce Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, E-Commerce Promotions and Offers reporting to the Manager eCommerce Digital Production.

 

This role will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Lead, E-Commerce Promotions and Offers is responsible for the end-to-end seamless execution of one-to-one, personalized consumer offers and ongoing monthly sales and flash sales. This person will operate at the intersection of Business Strategy, Product, Content, and Marketing teams to ensure the flawless launch of regular campaigns across key segments.   

  

They will also be the primary contact point as content and promotional enhancements move through their development lifecycle. Working with key stakeholders to build promotional plans based on business needs, collaborate with Go to Market and Launch teams for creative and content, and assist Web Content Producers in ensuring accuracy of implementations.  

  

Additionally, the Lead, E-Commerce Promotions and Offers will support the higher-level promotional content strategy by using their full view of personalized offers to ensure the brand is delivering optimized messaging and merchandising across all critical segments. They will be well-positioned to identify future merchandising enhancements for these promotional offers.   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Organize the day-to-day promotional activities, updating calendars and communicating updates across teams.  

  • Understand the site’s structure and assets needed to enhance the promotion experience on the web – overseeing all promotional creative, as well as brief in content needs to the Launch Team.  

  • Manage the end-to-end coordination and launch of ongoing Targeted Offer campaigns to support critical segments as directed by the business. Key partners include Revenue Management, Casino Operations, Marketing, Product Teams, Content, and QA.   

  • Lead the coordination of troubleshooting and resolution of issues during campaign launches – working with Revenue Management, Content, IT, and Marketing teams. Identify bugs or enhancements as needed and work with product teams to prioritize.   

  • Work cross-functionally in conjunction with the Web Content Production Manager to optimize operations – identifying scaling needs or gaps in resourcing.   

  • Maintain close relationships with business leaders and Product Managers to identify a promotional content enhancement backlog, looking for opportunities to improve the merchandising experience for these offers.   

  • Maintain and share a clear cadence of updates so all stakeholders are aligned on campaign status, identifying any escalation points or needs.   

  • Oversee promo dashboard execution – ensuring accuracy of setup by Web Content Producers.  

  • Track performance closely to support commercial business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related area of study.   

  • 5+ years of web content or promotions experience.   

  • Experience with JIRA, Wrike and/or other project management software.   

  • Travel Industry eCommerce experience preferred.   

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of digital promotional strategies and key terminology needed to interact and lead communication with other teams.  

  • Thorough understanding of multilayered, matrixed organization and establishing transparent workflows.   

  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills - Ability to negotiate and find mutually beneficial results with multiple internal and external stakeholders; excellent expectations management and achievement of high client satisfaction ratings.   

  • Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking - constantly pushing yourself and team members to challenge thinking in the digital space.   

  • Project management skills - superior organizational skills and ability to monitor, manage, and execute on various tasks and efforts at differing stages of discovery and execution, handle a large request queue, and deliver in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.   

  • Ability to flourish in a highly fast-paced, high-growth entrepreneurial environment.   

  • Strong understanding of systems, internal controls, and the ability to develop processes and procedures to support the company’s operation.
