Position Summary:

The Lead, Entertainment Systems Integration serves as the primary technical representative responsible for fleet entertainment systems integration, revitalization coordination, operational alignment, technical governance, and fleet technical standardization across Royal Caribbean Group's entertainment technology portfolio.

Reporting to the Director, SLVR, this role acts as the key liaison between Newbuild, Revitalization, Entertainment Operations, Product Development, Technical Operations, and external delivery partners to ensure entertainment technology systems are consistently designed, documented, integrated, and supported throughout the vessel lifecycle.

This position maintains ownership of entertainment systems integration standards, TV strategies, venue technology coordination, design reviews, and lessons learned processes while supporting active Newbuild programs and serving as the primary SLVR representative for fleet modernization initiatives. The role also plays a critical part in bridging operational experience with future vessel development, ensuring both existing and future ships benefit from continuous improvement, operational feedback, and technical consistency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary SLVR owner for fleet revitalization projects, venue modernization initiatives, and entertainment technology upgrades, ensuring alignment with department standards, operational requirements, and long-term fleet objectives.
• Act as the principal liaison between Newbuild, Entertainment Operations, Technical Operations, Product Development, Brand teams, and Revitalization stakeholders, ensuring operational lessons learned and opportunities for improvement are incorporated into future vessel development.
• Own the development, maintenance, review, and governance of fleet TV matrices, venue technology schedules, system architecture documentation, equipment standards, and integration guidelines.
• Lead detailed design reviews, consultant deliverable reviews, technical drawing reviews, and system coordination activities across active Newbuild and fleet modernization programs.

• Support integration of audio, video, broadcast, entertainment control, networked AV systems, digital signage, LED technologies, and venue infrastructure across multiple vessel classes and brands.
• Coordinate consultants, shipyards, vendors, manufacturers, and integrators to ensure entertainment systems are properly designed, documented, installed, commissioned, and handed over to operations.
• Participate in factory acceptance testing, onboard commissioning activities, operational acceptance reviews, and vessel delivery support as required.
• Maintain and continuously improve SLVR technical specifications, standards, best practices, lessons learned documentation, and system design guidelines.
• Support development of ROM estimates, technical evaluations, lifecycle assessments, value engineering opportunities, and equipment selection activities.
• Studies, collects, shares, compares, stores statistical information, and analyse various ships and areas bringing forth observations

• Identify opportunities to improve fleet consistency, simplify operational support, enhance maintainability, reduce lifecycle costs, and improve guest experience delivery.

• Provide technical support and subject matter expertise for operational escalations, system integration challenges, and fleet entertainment technology initiatives.

• Build strong relationships with shipboard Entertainment and Technical Operations teams to ensure future vessel development reflects operational realities and ongoing fleet needs.

Qualifications & Education:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in entertainment technology, audiovisual systems, broadcast systems, live entertainment, cruise operations, themed entertainment, or related technical environments.
• Experience supporting design, integration, commissioning, operation, or maintenance of entertainment technology systems.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex projects, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and develop technical recommendations with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating consultants, vendors, operators, and technical stakeholders within complex project environments.
• Strong understanding of entertainment technology integration and operational workflows.
• Cruise, hospitality, theme park, attraction, or venue-development experience preferred.

• Degree in Entertainment Technology, Audio Engineering, Technical Production, Engineering, Architecture, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of entertainment technology systems including audio, video, LED systems, broadcast systems, digital signage, entertainment control, networking, and venue technology infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of entertainment operations and the practical application of entertainment technologies within active cruise vessel environments.
• Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, system diagrams, and design documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical organizations.
• Excellent organization, planning, and coordination capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting commissioning, testing, acceptance, and operational handover activities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and competing business demands.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Vectorworks, Sound Vision, and related technical review tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and quality management practices applicable to vessel operations.

Financial Responsibilities

• Supports development, review, and management of SLVR modernization and revitalization investments across multiple fleet programs.
• Supports ROM development, technical evaluations, and value engineering activities associated with fleet modernization initiatives and entertainment technology upgrades.
• Reviews technical scope, cost impacts, and lifecycle considerations supporting investment decisions.
• Assist in identifying value engineering opportunities and cost optimization initiatives while maintaining operational and technical requirements.
•  Support capital planning and budgeting efforts for revitalization and fleet modernization activities
