The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Onboard Revenue Operations Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Key Account Manager reporting to the Dir, Market Sales

 

This position will work onsite from TX, OK, MO.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for profitable revenue generation from assigned Key Accounts generating over $15M in annual revenue within a specific geographic region. Key Account Manager is accountable for growth within assigned complex accounts to meet company sales and growth goals.  Major emphasis is on account penetration, targeted marketing efforts to affluent zip codes and mentorship of Market Sales Managers (incremental revenue from assigned accounts).  Key Account Managers will also lead key efforts within assigned cities within their region, as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at current high value accounts within territory.
  • Partner with Director of Sales and STEM department to analyze, develop and implement strategies to take advantage of sales opportunities with assigned accounts and affluent zip codes.
  • Key Account Manager conducts yearly contract negotiation and setting of revenue/growth goals.
  • Develop account plans and marketing/promotional strategies for assigned account base.
  • Key Account Manager is responsible for complete knowledge of all Celebrity Cruises products, services, and brand representation.
  • Conducts and coordinates agent training with assigned accounts, ensuring the development of Celebrity brand champions.
  • Ensures that assigned accounts and their agents are kept up to date with the latest brand information including itineraries, pricing and product enhancements and that they take full advantage of trade resources and tools.
  • Analyzes sales data in order to present monthly and quarterly business reviews with assigned accounts across territory.
  • Guides and mentors Field Sales Managers in preparing and delivering HQ roll-up accounts to analyze and develop business growth opportunities in affluent zip codes.
  • Role models core competencies and serves as a trainer and mentor for Field Sales Managers.  In partnership with the Regional Sales Director, provides leadership and support in the development of the region’s sales team.
  • Works with the executive team of complex accounts to secure business
  • Organizes, present and execute events for consumer and trade
  • Oversees Budget for their trade events
  • Assists with Project Management for the region as well as executing some of these projects
  • Assists with Co-op initiatives
  • Aligns communication to deliver to HQ ‘s of their regions
  • Gather and communicate reporting on customer business profile (ROI, cost of sale, yield, retention, automation)

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • 5-7 years proven outside Sales experience required;  
  • Travel industry experience preferred.   
  • Must be able to travel and live in assigned territory.   
  • Proven success and skill in negotiating and closing business with top producing accounts  
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must be able to work weekends as needed.
