The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Entertainment Experience Coordinator on the Fleet Entertainment Team reporting to the Manager, Entertainment Experience.

 

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida

 

Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for the administrative and logistical coordination and support of air / travel arrangements, manifesting, cabin procurement, payroll and related tasks which support the Celebrity Cruises Entertainment Experience team for Headliners, Enrichment (Beyond the Podium) speakers and cultural performances.  This position also works closely with the Human Resources team to ensure that shipboard employee processing, scheduling, and travel is updated accordingly.   

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinates travel for Headliner and Beyond the Podium (BTP) Enrichment Speakers. 

 

  • Supports the Manager Entertainment Experience with casting and programming Headliners and BTP Enrichment speakers.    

 

  • Monitors and evaluates acts to ensure they meet and exceed expectations and embody the Celebrity Cruises core values and quality standards. 

 

  • Ensure all travel, hotels, and / or ground transportation are booked at our contracted rates or lowest fares to maximize cost savings to the department. 

 

  • Responsible for maintaining travel budget for Headliner and BTP Enrichment speakers. 

 

  • Recovers monies from penalty tickets that are not used or changed by traveler changing or canceling ticket due to their own error. 

 

  • Input all important and personal information, as predicated in the hiring and manifesting process.  

 

  • Does projections in Enterprise 1, for travel purposes and sign on and offs for all long-term enrichment speakers and naturalists, including Medical and compassionate leave, and updates any essential information as pertaining to personal information on all musicians for all Celebrity Cruises ships. Enter new-hire information into Entertainment Management System.  

 

  • Maintains contract database. Ensures that all contracts are sent, received, logged, fully executed, and forwarded to legal department.  

 

  • Works with the ECCR team to manifest Headliners and BTP Enrichment speakers.  Responsible for securing necessary cabins through the ECCR request processes and maintaining the cabin allotment and assignment in Entertainment Management System (EMS).   

 

  • Runs weekly payroll process to ensure all BTP Enrichment speakers are paid in a timely fashion.  

 

  • Responsible for reviewing and approving travel-related expense reimbursement requests for Headliners and BTP Enrichment speakers.  

 

  • Work directly with agents to provide sales approval for Headliner and BTP merchandise.  

 

  • Manage talent database; upload photos, technical rider, and other details for all Headliners and BTP Enrichment speakers. 

 

  • Maintain the EMS schedule for Headliners and BTP Enrichment speakers. 

 

  • Support the shipboard Activities teams on all things related to Headliners and BTP Enrichment speakers. 

 

  • Review guest comment reports to ensure we meet guest satisfaction targets. 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Associate’s degree and/or Undergrad degree from an accredited college is preferred or applicable years of experience. 

 

  • Two to three years' experience in an administrative position within hospitality, travel, theatre, live-entertainment touring, or a related industry preferred. 

 

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.  

 

  • Strong work ethic. 

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. 

 

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage a fast-paced environment.  

 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

 

  • Experience with budget management. 

 

  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Cloud Based Systems, and ability to learn new software/programs.
