Royal Caribbean Group’s Finance and Accounting Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Director, Financial and Supply Chain Information Systems and Automation reporting to the AVP, Finance Transformation.

Position Summary:
If you are a highly skilled Technical Product Owner who can successfully oversee the technical direction and operational integrity of our Finance and Supply Chain Information Systems, we need your expertise! This role is critical in ensuring that our technical solutions not only meet business requirements but are also scalable, secure, and sustainable.

You would work closely with the Business Product Owner to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
This position involves managing the technical backlog, prioritizing system updates, and ensuring that all enhancements align with our overarching technical objectives. You would play a key role in maintaining the performance and reliability of our finance applications, utilizing metrics and KPIs to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Furthermore, you would be responsible for overseeing the implementation of best practices in system maintenance and support, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the technical team.
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of finance applications and cloud operations. Effective communication and relationship-building abilities are essential, as you would need to influence diverse teams and facilitate collaboration across functions, managing challenges and committing to delivering high-quality technical solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and own the technical product roadmap, communicating a clear technical vision for the Finance & Supply Chain Information System and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the technical backlog, ensuring that it reflects the most critical enhancements, fixes, and updates required for the system.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and document detailed technical specifications, ensuring system functionality aligns with business objectives.
- Oversee system maintenance, ensuring performance optimization, issue resolution, and system updates.
- Coordinate with vendors and outsourced teams to ensure timely delivery of technical enhancements and updates.
- Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for product enhancements and system integrations.
- Coordinate and manage the release management process, ensuring timely delivery of system updates and enhancements while minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Work with the Business Product Owner to ensure seamless execution of the product roadmap and system deployments.
- Manage the technical backlog and prioritize tasks based on business needs and technical constraints.
- Develop and promote best practices in system maintenance, support, and governance to ensure the integrity and security of finance applications.
- Monitor the performance and reliability of finance applications, using metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders across the organization.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues, facilitating their resolution and addressing any obstacles that impact the functionality of finance applications in a timely manner.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- 12 or more years of experience working with Finance applications or Information Systems, with 5 or more years of experience in Oracle SaaS or related applications.
- In-depth knowledge of finance applications, ERP systems, and cloud operations, particularly with Oracle SaaS, EPM modules, cloud-based solutions and system integrations.
- Experience in managing technical product backlogs and leading technical teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on translating complex technical issues into actionable solutions.
- Ability to define and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Proven experience in managing technical projects and releases, with familiarity in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or similar frameworks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with vendor management and managing outsourced teams.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience in Delivery, Release, and product ownership of Cloud Operations.
