Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Marine Operations Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Coordinator, Travel Operations reporting to the Lead, Technical Projects.
This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
Responsible for managing all vendor travel related to Capital projects, including but not limited to air, hotel, etc. through the usage of department and/or corporate designated tools. Follow the standard procedures of submitting requests via the request platform and follow-up with any needed communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Action all travel requests that come through the shared email group in a timely manner.
- Be able to discuss travel requests via telephone with vendors and make changes in the form as needed
- Must update each form as changes are made and track them to make sure they are completed
- Communicate with vendors and the internal travel team to fulfill and resolve conflicts on travel requests.
- Must be able to communicate with team members to address process concerns or areas of opportunity that may be impacting workflow, customer experience and/or financial impact.
- Closely follow travel development, updating the internal platform on a frequent basis.
- When needed, assist the team in submitting cabin and day visit requests.
- Create reports and presentations to show quarterly KPIs based on travel.
- Support the implementation of the PMO Project Management strategy. Proactively support strategic PMO initiatives to improve the PMO organization, processes and tools.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years with travel-related experience.
- Solid written and verbal communications skills. Clear and precise communication with all levels of the organization is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate efforts.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Software: Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, Outlook
- Language requirements: English
