Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Marine Operations Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Riding Crew Coordinator reporting to the AVP, Global Technical Engineering Services.
This position will work onsite in Miami, Florida
Position Summary:
The Royal Caribbean Maintenance Team Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the Global Marine Operations department, ensuring the seamless coordination and management of riding crew schedules and logistics. This position is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the broader objectives of Global Marine Technology division. This position maintains close collaboration with Human Resources to ensure the transit of team members to and from ships and land-based locations is secured as well as onboard housing. Also provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations through proper time management, accurate output, and timely follow-up for the manager and the rest of the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and develops schedules for riding crew members, ensuring optimal coverage and resource allocation.
- Assists relevant stakeholders with the preparation and management of riding crew tools, schedules and resources.
- Conducts regular follow-ups with Human Resources to ensure all required documentation for crew members is accurate and renewed in a timely manner.
- Prepares and maintains data related to crew assignments and operational needs.
- Provides administrative support to the Global Marine Operations team, facilitating smooth communication and workflow.
- Manages cabin requests for riding crew, ensuring accommodations meet operational requirements.
- Assists in generating reports on crew performance and operational metrics.
- Facilitates collaboration across teams to enhance operational efficiency and crew satisfaction.
- Monitors compliance with maritime regulations and company policies related to crew management.
- Supports training initiatives for riding crew members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of industry related experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
