The Royal Caribbean Group's Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Coordinator, Entertainment Technical Operations. 

 

Position Summary:

Responsible for the primary support of shoreside for Entertainment Technical Operations, by taking on assigned tasks that support the Manager, Schedulers, and Recruiter as outlined below: 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager Technical Operations, Entertainment and Specialist, Entertainment Technical Scheduler & Recruiting with key admin tasks
  • Input, maintain and communicate all Extra Crew Cabins (ECCs) as needed
  • Input, maintain and communicate all Fleet Visitor Requests (FVRs) as needed
  • Input, maintain and communicate all Travel Requests (Concur) as needed
  • Provides support for team by submitting and tracking IT requests through completion
  • Project crew members assignments in JDEdwards (E1), as needed
  • Input information into departmental databases and revise any appropriate documents as directed
  • Assist with logistics for worldwide recruiting events, including conferences, conventions and related programs
  • Monitor and help maintain the fleet Technical Reporting System
  • Monitor and help maintain the fleet Inventory Management System
  • Assist with the foundational growth of Entertainment Technical Operations

  • Ability to travel 10% of time for industry events and necessary meetings with teams onboard.

 

 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • High School Diploma required. University Degree preferred, or comparable work experience.
  • Two - three years’ experience in the entertainment industry preferred, but not required.
  • Cruise industry experience, both shipboard and shoreside, preferred, but not required.
  • Experience developing and maintaining large production or staffing schedules.
  • Able to interpret and execute a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to tactfully communicate with a wide range of people including prospective employees and shipboard staff from all over the world.
  • Must be outgoing and approachable while representing the brand at industry and recruiting events.   
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook). 
  • Experienced in design and creation of PowerPoint presentations.
