Associate Producer, Theme Parties, Events and Activities
This position will oversee the development, execution, and maintenance of all new and existing theme nights, parties, activities, and event experiences fleetwide. In addition, this role will oversee the creation, installation, and implementation of all new themed evening entertainment pieces while staying on budget and install timeline established by the Director, Entertainment Programming, Activities & Media and Senior Manager, Entertainment Activities Operations. Negotiates with potential vendors, creates agreements, and assists in the installation team's coordination. Also responsible for the integrity of all theme nights, parties, and events to ensure each event is presented to the highest standard as originally set by the install team. This position is required to keep current on the latest experience trends in the vacation industry.
Manages & develops new theme nights, parties, and event experiences, including dance parties, nightclub experiences, and interactive daytime and evening events.
Oversees the creation, installation and implementation of all new themed evening entertainment pieces while staying on budget and install timeline.
Oversees the maintenance of all existing theme nights, parties, activities, and events.
Negotiates with vendors and works closely with Manager, Contracts and Compliance in creating and executing required agreements.
Manages install team coordination, including booking travel, ECC cabin requests, and communicating with all parties involved, including shipboard teams
Responsible for the integrity of all theme nights, parties, and events to ensure each activity is presented at the highest standard as originally set by the installation team by performing video audits and in-person audits.
Assists the Entertainment Activities teams in creating Standard Operating Procedures for all newly implemented entertainment activities and ensure SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) are followed to the highest standard.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong conceptual, planning, and strategic thinking.
Experience working effectively with senior management, including executive-level presentations.
Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong business writing skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in Business, Entertainment or Management
1-3 years entertainment experience preferred
Shipboard work experience preferred
Has a general understanding of a Royal Caribbean’s Entertainment Operation
