Analyst Sr.II, Revenue Strategy

Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst II ensures the reliability and availability of critical business information pertaining to Revenue Management as well as other business areas of the Celebrity brand.   They use Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint and other business tools to visualize important information and share with the RM team, Sr. Management and other business units.  They update Sr. Management daily on key business metrics from the previous day as well as providing weekly business reviews.  This person will lead various cross-functional meetings relating to critical business needs (ie. Guest vaccination updates, Gameplan).  They are the key contact for our international RM offices on RM reporting.  In addition, they will provide support for ongoing long-term projects, such as automation and modelling.  They will also handle adhoc analytics as they come up each day.

This position reports to the Manager of Revenue Strategy but will work closely with leadership across the brand.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining all reporting to evaluate current business trends. Remains in constant contact with Global Revenue Management Product Teams and Planning and Analysis team to remain current always on any new business reporting standards. Identifies revenue generating opportunities and communicates effectively to Revenue Management product teams.
  • Leads the development and execution of global sourcing strategy that optimizes Total Net Revenue. Provides analysis and recommendations for market sourcing volume and APD based on current position, strategic plans, and historical success.  Prepares concise written recommendations that include both qualitative and quantitative analysis to domestic and international partners.  Coordinates and collaborates with Global Markets for input and guidance as well as provides feedback on their recommendations.
  • Responsible for data modeling and maintaining as well as building Power BI reports.
  • Lead data visualization projects and effectively translate complex data into simplified visual representation. Ensure understanding of revenue management data with key players across the global organization.
  • Manages the planning of volume and APD performance for all global markets by developing a detailed Track, relative KPIs, and determines strategies to achieve those KPIs globally.  Provides tactical recommendations for performance of products, markets, or categories when KPIs are not achieved.  Establishes both pro and post forma analyses.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Supports decisions that can impact over $3.8 billion in revenue.
  • Manages the planning of volume and APD performance for all global markets by developing a detailed Track, relative KPIs, and determines strategies to achieve those KPIs globally.  Provides tactical recommendations for performance of products, markets, or categories when KPIs are not achieved.  Establishes both pro and post forma analyses.
  • Helps evaluate automation projects and opportunities based on anticipated revenues or savings.
  • Contributes to forecast and track optimization to deliver maximum returns.

 

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s degree (MA) preferred
  • Bachelors degree (BA) from four-year college or university required
  • At least 3 years of related experience in financial/business analysis or related field required
  • Previous experience with project management preferred
  • Familiarization with revenue management concepts and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (365) applications, Hyperion Studio, Power BI, SQL
  • Experience with data visualization projects and tools
