POSITION SUMMARY:

As a premium cruise line that has sailed to all 7 continents, Celebrity features award-winning itineraries, culinary experiences, ships, and world-class service. Celebrity’s Strategy team plays a key role in determining how to bring this experience to life by collaborating with all departments across the brand including deployment, revenue management, marketing, finance, hotel ops, newbuild, and marine. This level of broad exposure to the business allows the group to provide guidance to senior leadership when determining both the near and long-term development and success of the Celebrity brand.
The Brand and Destination Strategy Analyst will support the Celebrity Strategy team by providing analytical and research driven insights as it relates to both the delivery of the Brand’s destination portfolio and its consumer facing strategy. The analyst will have the opportunity to be part of delivering these insights to leadership and the Celebrity Brand as a whole.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the Destination Strategy planning process throughout the year in close partnership with the Deployment Operations team.
• Drive brand evolution, collaborating with key stakeholders to support strategic change across the organization.
• Support the preparation for Strategy Days for Celebrity leadership.
• Pull and analyze large data sets to establish and implement effective strategies.
• Develop analytical models, tools and dashboards to improve the speed and quality of strategic decisions
• Manage projects and timelines
• Prepare presentations to share with key stakeholders and internal partners outlining updates and progress on Strategy initiatives.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
• Will require creativity, initiative, drive, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university required with focus in quantitative discipline preferred.
• 1-2 years of internship and entry-level analysis experience preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of global affairs, geography and basic economics
• Passion for travel and learning about other destinations/cultures
• Demonstrated ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data, make decisions and recommendations and independently implement decisions is required
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise presentations
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
To perform this position successfully, the individual should be a self-starter and be able to complete a project with little direction. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manor. • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once
Physical Demands:

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, possibly travel domestic and international, and work in shipboard functions. A high noise level is possible if visiting shipboard or offsite locations.
