The Royal Caribbean Group’s Revenue Systems and Program Management team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Analyst, Revenue Systems and Program Management reporting to the Manager, Revenue BI & Analytics.
Position Overview
The Analyst, Revenue Systems & Program Management will support the day-to-day operational requirements for the onboard Point-of-Sale (POS) system and Global Hospitality Systems (GHS), ensuring optimal functionality and support across all new and existing ships. This responsibility includes collaboration and communication with ship and shore stakeholders and working closely with the IT department.
The Analyst will be responsible for analysis, deep dives and assessment of Onboard Revenue streams and special projects to identify opportunities, root causes, pricing opportunities and adjustments.
This position works closely with Product Owners to review pricing and promotions to achieve targets. Additionally, will conduct benchmarking and competitive analyses.
This role involves financial management, including month-end accruals and budget analysis, as well as providing recommendations to enhance departmental processes and revenue streams.
Analyst will act as a key liaison between shipboard and shore-side teams, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving. Additionally, they will implement quality assurance measures, develop training programs, and manage various administrative duties to maintain operational excellence and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Point-of-Sale (POS) System Oversight
- Oversee the management of the onboard point-of-sale (POS) system, including the creation, modification of POS screens, and testing of new products.
- Ensure the overall maintenance and functionality of POS systems, acting as the subject matter expert (SME) and providing support to cross-functional teams.
- Act as liaison with Newbuild IT to deploy all POS solutions for all new ships.
- GHS (Global Hospitality Systems)
- Act as lead Conduent with corporate shipboard systems product owners to maximize the efficient use of GHS.
- Represent Onboard revenue for exploratory solution options for other offer management systems, as applicable.
- Financial Management and Reporting
- Take ownership of month-end financial accruals for revenue areas and cost areas, as well as other accruals, invoicing, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization and budget management.
- Onboard Revenue Analytics
- Conduct assessments and analytics of key revenue streams.
- Make pricing and promotion recommendations based on trends.
- Develop a summary of performance trends based on available data.
- Process Improvement and Strategic Recommendations
- Make informed recommendations to senior staff on process or system improvements, driving innovation and efficiency within the department.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies and tactics to maximize revenue and reduce expenses.
- Stakeholder and Team Communications
- Participate in ship-to-shore communications, facilitating real-time problem-solving and ensuring effective information flow.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and internal departments, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure all onboard revenue product processes and POS system operations adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Develop standard operating procedures and maintain a library of where these are stored for easy access by all.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer
- Develop and deliver training programs for team members and other staff on shore excursion procedures and POS system functionalities.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure continuity and consistency in operations.
- Administrative Duties
- Oversee and manage administrative duties, which include the use of multiple computer programs, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university recommended with focus in quantitative discipline preferred.
- Two+ years related experience with financial / business system including analysis or hands-on work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in project management.
- Ability to travel 15% of the time to visit shipboard stakeholders.
Financial Quantitative Responsibilities
- To perform this position successfully, the individual should be a self-starter and be able to complete a project with little direction.
