The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruise Line's Revenue Management Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Revenue Management Analyst of River Cruises reporting to the Revenue Management Manager of River Cruises.

 

Position is onsite and based in Miami, FL. 

 

Position Summary:

The Revenue Management (RM) Department plays a key role in our efforts to stay on top of this industry.

Revenue Management is responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization. As a member of the Revenue Management Department, the candidate will have the opportunity to set strategic direction, determine pricing, create promotions, and explore new distribution opportunities. The candidate will have exposure to senior management and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other Revenue Performance Departments.

 

In Revenue Management, analysts develop and execute product action plans to increase our market share, yield, and product profitability. Assignments within Revenue Management will typically involve quantitative and qualitative analysis of a competitive situation, development of recommendations, and written and/or oral presentation of those recommendations to Senior Management. Assignments will vary and may include one or more of the following:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Optimize yields through data-driven inventory management and pricing strategies
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategies at different levels (e.g., market, booking channel)
  • Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analysis
  • Validate reports and data at different levels of granularity
  • Quote incentive group and charter business opportunities
  • Provide frequent performance updates to key stakeholders, including senior leadership

 

 Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.)
  • 1-2 years of work or internship experience, preferably in business, pricing, and/or financial analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and other MS Office applications
  • Understanding of revenue management and/or basic economic concepts
  • Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data independently, and make data-driven decisions and/or recommendations
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage multiple projects at once
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity
