Analyst, PreCruise Planner Revenue

The Royal Caribbean Group’s Revenue team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Precruise Planner Revenue reporting to the Manager Precruise Revenue.

Position Overview

The Analyst, PCP & OBR Revenue Analytics will provide pricing and inventory decisions for Precruise Planner (PCP) for all products offered on the platform (Beverage, Shorex, Internet, Dining, Spa, Photo, etc.) for the Royal Caribbean International brand. This person will play a pivotal part in current and future system enhancements. The position will report to Manager, Precruise Revenue make sure that the brand is maximizing revenue opportunities. This analyst supports the commercial performance of pre-cruise onboard revenue by executing pricing, promotions, inventory setup, forecasting, and reporting. This role partners closely with Marketing, Digital, Operations, Legal, and Data teams and leverages analytics and AI-enabled tools to ensure accurate execution and continuous performance improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Commercial Execution & Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pre-cruise planner inventory and product codes across Beverage, Shore Excursions, Internet, Spa, Photo, and Onboard Activities.
  • Execute and validate pricing changes for promotions and everyday pricing, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy.
  • Support the successful execution of promotions, new product launches, and changes to existing products.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on frequent pricing and promotion updates to protect revenue integrity and guest experience.

Analytics, Forecasting & AI Enablement

  • Produce regular reporting and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and highlight risks or opportunities.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and automated reporting to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of analysis and execution.
  • Partner with Data Science and Analytics teams to validate data sources, outputs, and insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Digital, Operations, and Shipboard teams to ensure offers are executed correctly and supported operationally.
  • Coordinate with Legal to ensure terms and conditions for new and existing offers are correctly implemented in the pre-cruise planner.
  • Communicate current offers and execution details to international markets to support alignment to PCP targets.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Support ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and resolve execution issues.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, data gaps, or recurring errors and recommend improvements, including opportunities for automation or AI support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; one to three years related financial and business analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
  • Exceptionally strong computer and analytical skills are required.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
  • Knowledge of Hyperion, SQL, Essbase and business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Attention to detail required
  • Willingness to accept immediate product and project responsibility.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once

Working Conditions
