Analyst, Onboard Revenue

The Royal Caribbean Group’s Onboard Revenue team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Analyst, Onboard Revenue reporting to our Senior Manager, Onboard Revenue Strategy.

Position Summary

  • Performs quality assurance on pricing changes during frequent promotions and general price changes.
  • Finalizes all necessary request forms for internal stakeholders for successful execution of promotions, new products, and existing product updates.
  • Directs the development, enhancement, and maintenance of pricing strategy models across different regions and target demographics.
  • Supports onboard revenue management functions which include price management, reporting, audits, and analytical querying.
  • Focuses on business performance monitoring and reporting by creating business intelligence reports to assess the current performance and to understand business risks in order to meet year-end forecasts.
  • Participates in ad hoc analysis as needed.

Financial Responsibility

  • Analyze and manage over $600M in shore excursion revenue per year, while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications And Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) required, with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management, vendors and employees.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong computer and analytical skills are required, including advanced Excel and SQL.
  • Attention to detail required.
  • Willingness to accept immediate product and project responsibility.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment and manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once.

 

Working Conditions

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to communicate effectively with various departments within the organization, both shipboard and shore side. Excellent interpersonal skills.  Ability to build, challenge and develop a high caliber team both shoreside and shipboard.
