Analyst, Learning and Development
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Sales Trainer is a key member of the Sales Learning & Development team, responsible
for supporting the design, development, and delivery of innovative training programs for Celebrity
Cruises’ Sales team and the travel advisor sales channel.
Reporting to the Manager, Trade Marketing (L&D), this role requires a highly organized, creative, and
forward-thinking professional who can anticipate needs, communicate effectively, and execute with
excellence. The ideal candidate is a confident presenter, strong collaborator, and skilled multitasker
who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This role is responsible for creating engaging training materials across multiple platforms, including
instructor-led sessions, webinars, and digital learning tools for both internal Sales teams and external
travel advisors. The Trainer plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of key
training initiatives such as Seminars at Sea and webinars.
The Regional Sales Trainer supports the training creation and delivers impactful learning experiences
focused on strengthening sales effectiveness, including closing techniques, objection handling,
problem-solving, revenue optimization, product knowledge (i.e. ships, itineraries, regions where we
sail, ship configuration, promotions, marketing tools, etc…). This individual also monitors training
effectiveness through data and insights, continuously refining content and delivery methods to drive
results. This role also supports administration of Seminars at Sea and invoicing/record keeping with
vendors.
Success in this role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to pivot quickly while
maintaining high standards. The Trainer represents Celebrity Cruises with professionalism and
confidence in both internal and external environments.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
required.
· 3–5+ years of experience in training and development.
· Travel industry experience strongly preferred, particularly supporting Sales teams.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
· Miami-based role with approximately 25% travel (shipboard visits, industry events, seminars at sea, and field support with Sales Account Managers). · Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. · Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to shift priorities and align work to organizational goals. --- Knowledge & Skills · Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams. · Ability to assess and analyze training needs and design engaging, result-driven learning solutions. · Confident facilitator with experience delivering training to diverse audiences, including Sales teams and travel advisors. · Strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles. · Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance productivity. · Experience with technical writing, multimedia content creation, and performance measurement. · Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. · Strong listening, questioning, and stakeholder engagement skills. · Proficiency in a variety of instructional methods and learning technologies. · Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint (high-quality presentations) and Excel (pivot tables, formulas). · Experience with Canva or similar design tools. · Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Able to interpret data results and make recommendations for improvement or changes. · Experience working with LMS platforms and digital learning tools. · High attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency. · Strong accountability and follow-through. · Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. · Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. · Experience working with vendors, processing invoices and keeping Purchase Orders organized.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to work at a computer for extended periods, including viewing monitors, typing, and
using standard office equipment.
· Requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus for reviewing detailed information.
· Ability to communicate effectively with others both in person and via phone.
· Regularly required to sit, stand, write, review documents, and compile data.
· Frequently moves throughout the office environment.
· May occasionally lift, carry, or move items up to 10 pounds.
· May occasionally require bending, climbing, or descending within the office or event
environments.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Climate-controlled, air-conditioned corporate office setting.
· This position requires working a designated schedule on-site at the corporate office.
