Analyst, F&B Operations
SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the Lead, Operational Excellence, the Analyst position is 100% focused on supporting Food & Beverage’s War on Waste (WOW) initiative.
This position is project-based and responsible for the success of the development, deployment, maintenance and optimization of all food waste processes, systems, practices and people.
Analyst F&B Operations Excellence will be responsible for supporting all analysis as it relates to the War on Waste and finding ways to prevent waste from occurring, including developing periodic food waste targets. Position will also support and analyze factors to update our system on consistent basis. Will be involved in ship visits to look for ways to reduce food waste and collaborate with others to find best desired outcomes. Will include setting KPI¿s for each project and work closely with the Lead, F&B Operations Excellence to determine go/no-go decision. Position will also maintain F&B content accuracy for the fleet and evaluate results from shipboard waste analysis, determining KPIs and developing corrective actions and guidelines.
- Supports Lead, F&B Operations Excellence to reduce food waste fleetwide and develop prevention plans
- Leads Q|Control daily management and supports deployment and implementation
- Responsible for accuracy and quality of program data and generates reporting for all key stakeholders at month-end and as needed
- Maintains content accuracy of War on Waste information and systems
- Monitors F&B food waste and related KPIs to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Summarizes results and trends through presentations, graphs and timelines as needed
- Supports team scheduling and equipment management
- Responsible for ad-hoc analysis for projects impacting food and beverage waste
- Some travel required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree (BA) of four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience is required. MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
- 1 to 3 years with experience in financial / business analysis preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills should include mathematical modeling; data management, statistical analysis and broad exposure to operations research Advance Microsoft ® Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Hyperion Interactive Reporting Studio ® is a plus.
- Knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation and listening skills, including the ability to adjust and effectively interact with external customers, internal staff, food and beverage corporate and ships leadership; and executive management
- Bold thinker with ability to generate creative and actionable recommendations to increase revenue, reduce costs and improve operational performance, efficiency and excellence
- Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, develop and execute appropriate action plans
- Strong analytical and reporting skills to identify & interpret trends and provide achievable recommendations
- Ability to solve complex problems with a variety of components in situations where no standardization exists
- Cruise or Travel Industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
