Position Summary
Analyst F&B Operations Excellence will be responsible for supporting analysis in F&B, this includes running various daily/weekly/monthly reports to analyze consumption forecasts for food. Developing customer templates to reduce wastage and maintaining changes based on recipe updates/updates to our recipe database. Analysts will also help manage monthly/quarterly invoices. This position will include special project work from venue owners and ad-hoc project work and presentations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses using operational metrics and reports.

Utilizes practical knowledge of their job area, typically acquired through advanced education and work experience.

Develop F&B forecasts to provide procurement and IBP input form to make better decisions.

Collaborates with teams to evaluate processes and practices and may design new or modify existing processes/operations to meet changing demands.

Processes monthly and quarterly invoice.

Report out slow-moving and fast-moving items to eliminate wastage or shortages.

Develop customer templates so venues only order what is needed for their space.

Assist with product forecasting when the menu changes or preference shifts.

Finding patterns and trends in analyzed data and making recommendations to improve.

Responsible for ad-hoc analysis for various F&B projects and includes analytical problem solving and special projects work.

Manage the SIL Food catalog inclusive of product life cycle. Analyze and interpret PRD effectiveness and efficiency. Guide/drive PRD rationalization working with shoreside and shipboard chefs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
At least 2-3 years’ experience as an Analyst in an established organization.

Strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in mathematics with the skill to translate complex mathematical information into understandable reports.

Report writing and presentation skills.

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills required.

Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and Basic knowledge of Power BI and SQL. Added the yellow

Basic knowledge of F&B operations and planning procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively analyze information.

Ability to solve problems.

Ability to multitask with accuracy and use project tracking software like Smartsheet.

Ability to follow both written and verbal directives.

Advanced Excel skills (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, graphs, and task automation)

Strong analytical and reporting skills to identify & interpret trends and provide actionable recommendations.

Ability to solve complex problems with a variety of variables in situations where no standardization exists.
Work Environment:

Able to travel up to 20% of the time.
