The Royal Caribbean Group’s Destination Development Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Destination Strategy Analyst to the Destination Intelligence Manager.  

 

The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.   

 

The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

 

Position Summary:

This position will support the Destination Intelligence team in Destination Development and will be responsible for conducting data-driven analysis, reporting, and forecasting. The Analyst will contribute to destination planning efforts by developing analytical tools, tracking project progress, and generating insights that inform investment decisions. The position plays a key role in advancing a more data and technology enabled planning approach by helping enhance reporting capabilities, improving data quality, workflow automation, and supporting the development of scalable analytical solutions. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with internal organizations within RCG such as Government Relations, External Affairs, Deployment, Private Destinations, Port Operations, Marine Operations, and Shore Excursions to maintain an accurate, accountable database.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain a database of each of the destinations in which RCG operates or may operate, allowing us to recognize opportunities before they are public, understand potential roadblocks, and build our partnership with the destinations
  • Analyzes consumer research feedback with market trends, both past and present, to develop the improvement strategy of each destination
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain a catalog of databases and analytic applications that house all destination-related information
  • Integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources using SQL
  • Perform data analyses to address complex business questions
  • Responsible for creating processes to improve data and communication efficiency internally
  • Perform industry and financial research analysis as needed
  • Collaborates in the creation of bi-monthly and quarterly executive updates that summarizes the latest status of the corporate-wide destination development overarching strategy

 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, data management, analytics, or other related fields; 1 to 2 years of business analytics experience preferred
  • Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Suite including Excel.
  • Proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, scenario analyses, and business recommendations
  • Business acumen and the ability to connect analytical outputs to operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, quality, and consistency
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise presentations
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and continuous-improvement mindset, with a track record of identifying opportunities to enhance processes and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment.
