Royal Caribbean team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Capital Finance Analyst reporting to the Lead of Capital, Business Analysis & Galapagos.
Position Summary
The Capital & Business Analyst will support the Lead of Capital & Business Analysis in executing the capital planning and monitoring process for the brand, as well as conducting financial and strategic analyses. This role will contribute to the development of insights and recommendations that help drive performance and operational improvement across the brand.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, financial acumen, and a collaborative mindset. Effective communication with both Finance and Operational teams is essential to succeed in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Capital Planning Support
- Assist in the development of annual capital plans, forecasts, and long-term strategic capital planning.
- Support the prioritization of capital projects by gathering data, performing financial analysis, and preparing business cases.
- Track capital spend by project and assist in variance analysis against forecast.
Financial & Strategic Analysis
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis to evaluate capital performance and identify trends.
- Assist in internal capital audits, including invoice reconciliation and business case reviews.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate findings to Finance and Operational leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with teams across Corporate Planning, Accounting, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and timely execution of capital-related deliverables.
- Support the development and maintenance of capital process documentation and workflows.
Reporting & Insights
- Maintain and update the Capital Dashboard, ensuring accuracy and clarity for senior leadership.
- Assist in preparing presentations and materials for senior stakeholders, including the Brand President and SVP of Hotel Operations.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- B.A in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- One to three years related to financial or business analysis. Cruise or Hospitality experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office; experience with financial modeling preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment
