The Royal Caribbean Group’s Human Resources has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Benefits Analyst reporting to the Global Benefits Manager
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for administering all health and welfare benefits and voluntary benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability. This role ensures that benefits-related data is complete and accurate in SuccessFactors (myHR) and Homeport. The incumbent has independent, analytical, and administrative responsibilities and serves as the first point of contact for all employee benefits issues, concerns, and questions.
Qualifications and Education
- Implement new and/or revised benefits programs and notify employees of changes.
- Manage day-to-day employee benefits administration.
- Assist with new-hire orientations and advise employees on benefits eligibility and provisions.
- Ensure timely completion of medical enrollments in SuccessFactors (myHR).
- Monitor benefits enrollments for compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain consistent and accurate benefit-related data; assist with data auditing and reporting.
- Analyze and report benefits data to ensure compliance with plan provisions.
- Resolve employee benefits inquiries and serve as a liaison with insurance carriers and service providers.
- Process life status changes in accordance with policy and legislation.
- Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees.
- Compile and analyze employee benefit information for annual enrollment.
- Maintain accurate Benefits information in Homeport.
- Manage COBRA administration and ensure compliance with state law.
- Administer FMLA, STD, and other state leave laws.
- Administer the tuition and certification reimbursement programs.
- Assist with financial programs including FSA, HSA, 401K, and ESPP.
- Perform quality checks of benefits-related data before payroll.
- Handle ad hoc benefit projects as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across departments.
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and SuccessFactors.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, use formulas, and analyze data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) preferred, with 3-5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
