Guest Commerce International, Senior Account Executive

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.


Position Summary:
The Guest Commerce International, Senior Account Executive is responsible for coding and coordinating e-commerce content to seamlessly execute email development strategies and product information. This role aims to drive long-term email and lifecycle strategy by balancing data and insights, platform technology, design, and customer needs. This person acts as a liaison between Digital Experience, Product Marketing, Shipboard and other departments and content stakeholders to deliver systems with a high standard of user experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, run and analyze personalized experiences using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe photoshop, illustrator and Adobe Target
  • Create and curate product content for guest lifecycle streams and ensure dynamic code accuracy, appropriateness and relevancy across International markets
  • Manage the strategy, workflow process, and execution of content initiatives related but not limited to: ongoing updates, booked guest experience, and Go-To-Market campaigns
  • Develop applications including user interfaces and APIs to handle large datasets and streamline processes
  • Support backend integration and maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the UI
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing lifecycle streams within Salesforce Marketing cloud
  • Produce a consistent creative identity that can be used as a model for all ongoing content development
  • Translate design mockups into clean and readable code
  • Prepare images to be used across multi-channel campaigns
  • Identify new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance personalization through dynamic code usability
  • Conduct and Identify and correct inconsistencies relative to content, placement, and messaging
  • Monitor campaigns, report results and provide recommendations on how to improve performance through optimizations.


College degree required. 3-4 years of experience in EM/Web Development and/or JavaScript coding experience


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and front-end frameworks, responsive design, content management systems, testing and debugging
  • Experience working with Adobe Target, Monetate, Salesforcem Marketing cloud or other personalization platforms
  • Knowledge on SQL, data modeling, relational and document database
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Adobe Analytics and/or Adobe Audience Manager
  • Jira or similar project management tools and Scrum practices
  • Ability to learn new technologies at high level to identify use opportunities
  • Experience: 3-4 years experience in EM development and content strategy
  • Execution: excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Must have strong sense of site layout and design
  • Able to formulate, communicate and implement technical solutions
  • Highly organized and agile to work in a complex, matrix environment where priorities change rapidly
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. May lead or direct the work of others
  • Demonstrate a degree of creativity with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong with methodologies, tools, best practices and processes within specific area of responsibility
  • Maintain high level of proficiency and understanding of company efforts, programs and policies at all times
  • Project management: ability to manage multiple campaigns and cross-functional team members
  • Approach: energy and enthusiasm to drive results; must be self-motivated, proactive, poised and flexible
  • Industry knowledge: passionate about cruise/travel industry, eCommerce and CRM
