Account Executive, Trade Marketing

Position Summary: 

Manage marketing programs for all Sales areas, including but not limited to Field Sales, Inside Sales, Incentive Sales, National & Corporate Accounts and the Travel Agent community. Coordinates and act as a liaison with Sales, Marketing, Fleet Operations and Revenue Management customers to manage the development of creative, flow of projects, approval of promotional materials and marketing asset placement.  Responsible for ensuring consistency of message and image in all marketing programs and capturing efficiencies and synergies in program execution across all sales areas to drive demand and control costs. 

 

***This position will be located in Miami, Florida***

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops comprehensive, multidimensional marketing programs to drive maximum demand and sales results while ensuring the brand is represented appropriately through all cooperative program media: direct mail, newspaper, television, internet, etc. 
  • Develops annual product marketing programs and assist in establishing annual brand objectives, strategies, and positioning for Sales
  • Proactively works across all areas involved in the development and execution of marketing and promotional programs, including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Fleet Operations and Purchasing to ensure that programs convey desired messages, run on time and are cost-effective. Interacts with customers on the execution of marketing and promotional program.
  •  Ensures consistency of message and image in all marketing programs and capturing efficiencies and synergies in program execution across all sales areas to drive demand and control costs.
  • Analyze potential travel partner client needs and coordinate the development, execution and follow-up of the sales portion of the strategies, including the development of programs, contests, incentives, flyers, etc.   Analyze Revenue streams and product needs to develop, execute, and follow up with programs incentives, and/or contests. 
  • Sales tools to support product focuses, new policies, and procedures, etc. 
  • Compile information & action plans from assorted Sales teams to provide up-to-date status of sales activities/efforts 
  • Design, develop, manage, and execute all Retail sales initiatives, including point of sale items, window displays, and as-needed requests per region and/or account. 
  • Work with Special Events team on coordinating items, marketing materials and collateral for bi-annual National Sales Meetings, inaugural sailings or other events, as needed.
  • Responsible for upload and maintenance of information on various web tools, including but not limited to CruisingPower and Intranet site 
     

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems & deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to use business and marketing knowledge to make decisions and get results
  • Ability to use multiple communication and interaction methods to collaborate effectively, obtain results and develop customer champions
  • Skilled in identifying commons needs across business areas, providing viable resolutions, and customer service  
  • Proficiency in communicating ideas, marketing and promoting concepts 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks 
  • Strong attention to detail, grammar and ability to accurately proofread marketing materials
