Royal Caribbean Group’s Marketing Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Account Executive, Media reporting to the Sr Manager, Digital Media

 

This position will be working onsite from Miami.

 

Position Summary:

The Account Executive, Media is responsible for managing campaign operations, supporting creative optimization, and driving performance across all media channels—including Paid Social, Display, Online Video, and Paid Search. This role collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams (Web, Creative Services, Social Media, Integrated Marketing, Go-to-Market, Brand Marketing, Traditional Media, Trade Marketing, and Meetings & Incentives) and external media and creative agencies to activate and optimize campaigns.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Traffic & execute digital media support for all retail promotions, product launches, and new ship/destination campaigns.
  • Track campaign creative scope and coordinate with content and creative teams to ensure adequate resourcing and timely asset development.
  • Provide operational campaign support, ensuring all campaigns launch accurately, on time, and according to specifications.
  • Work closely with marketing teams on campaign initiatives, concepts, and asset creation to support campaign goals and tactical product and/or regional support to holistically shape the user experience and consumer journey.
  • Align with Web and eCommerce merchandising teams on optimal landing page experiences to support campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage dynamic creative segmentation and continually audit our 3rd party dynamic creative platforms and campaigns to ensure pricing and creative segmentation is accurate.
  • Maintain the monthly promotional campaign calendar and ensure timely distribution to internal and agency stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Digital Media Performance Lead to interpret campaign performance and deliver actionable insights for creative and targeting optimization.
  • Deliver performance reporting, including ad hoc and ongoing digital media and web analytics reports.
  • Share creative performance insights with content teams to continuously improve asset effectiveness.
  • Create and deliver campaign tracking codes for digital and traditional media campaigns to support accurate tracking.
  • Format and distribute competitive insight reports and monthly flowcharts.
  • Assist with monthly billing support by QA’ing and processing invoices before submitting to Brand Finance.
  • Distribute weekly National TV & Streaming programming highlights to the relevant distribution list.
  • Stay informed on digital media industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Engage regularly with media partners and vendors to explore new opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required preferably with a major in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • Two to three years of experience working on Digital Media and Marketing campaigns.
  • Previous experience working within or with a media Agency and/or hands-on work experience in Digital Media and Web marketing.
  • Previous digital media trafficking experience preferred.
  • Experience working with creative agencies and an understanding of the creative briefing process.
  • Experience working with creative teams on design and objectives of our digital media assets.
  • Experience working with various digital media advertising technologies including 3rd party ad servers (FlashTalking, DoubleClick etc.) preferred.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau
  • Understanding of Web Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and associated campaign tracking.
  • Understanding of HTML coding is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, and Flash preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot. Well-organized, with firm follow-through skills.
  • Understanding of creative optimization and A/B testing.
  • Highly motivated and tech savvy with a desire to expand their knowledge of digital media strategies and tactics.
  • Capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Has demonstrated a strong attention to detail and accuracy in previous position(s).
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, able to handle continual change, flexible and works well under deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
