About the Program: The MBA Commercial and Corporate Finance/Strategy Rotational Program is a two-year rotational program based in Miami, Florida. The program is designed to build future leaders for within Royal Caribbean Group with commercial and financial acumen. As a manager, you’d have the opportunity to rotate through two rotations. Based on project availability, participants will spend time working in two functional areas, becoming familiar with the core financial and commercial drivers of the business. You will also receive comprehensive training in all areas in which you will be rotating. All the while, you will gain exposure to the C-suite, key decision makers in the brands, and gain unparalleled cross-departmental knowledge that will position you for an accelerated career path at Royal Caribbean.
Rotation Preview:
- Commercial Rotation | 12 months (Revenue Management OR Onboard Revenue)
- Revenue Management – The Revenue Management team drives revenue growth and maximizes occupancy onboard our ships. As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with pricing, marketing, sales, and international markets to develop and execute strategies that attract the right guests and optimize ticket revenue and occupancy. You will analyze internal data alongside global travel and economic trends to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities. Responsibilities include managing inventory, pricing, and ticket revenue for Royal Caribbean International or Celebrity Cruises ships. By leveraging data sets and business intelligence dashboards, you will help interpret booking trends and demand. The environment is collaborative and requires frequent coordination with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Commercial Planning, and Data Science.
- Onboard Revenue – The Onboard Revenue team acts as an internal consultant, partnering with leadership to develop strategies and initiatives that support onboard revenue growth and operational efficiencies. Areas of focus include accelerating pre-cruise and app revenue, defining regional shore excursion strategies, and maximizing third-party partnerships.
- Corporate Finance and Strategy Rotation | 12 months (Capital / Corporate Planning OR Corporate Strategy / Development)
- Corporate Planning - The Corporate Planning team provides financial analysis to senior management for all entities under Royal Caribbean Group, delivering historical and current analytics to support earnings call forecasts. The team is responsible for preparing accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting on corporate earnings and interacts with brand and finance leadership for variance and reporting analysis. Additional responsibilities include overseeing various asset and ship-related performance metrics, channel performance, and benchmarking performance across brands.
- Corporate Strategy – The Corporate Strategy team supports corporate, brand, and functional leaders in navigating a dynamic operating environment and executing complex organizational initiatives. As an internal consulting group, the team works cross-functionally to set the long-term strategic vision for the corporation. You will join a high-performing team of former management consultants and industry veterans, following a growth-minded apprenticeship model. What we are looking for:
- Graduating 2nd year MBA students with 3-6 of professional working experience ideally with a background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, and/or a quantitative field
- Students graduating in December 2025 May 2026 (available to begin in August 2026).
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis
- Proven leadership skills either in school or professional experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- High level of critical thinking
- Strong quantitative skills (financial modeling & forecasting, data visualization)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ideally experience with creating dashboards
- Ability to think strategically, while managing the details
