Position Summary:
 Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the Lead, BI & Analytics within Global Supply Chain Operations (GSC), the Planning & Performance Management Summer Intern will support several business intelligence and analytics efforts across our organization, helping uncover data driven insights that enable optimizing spend and realizing savings targets. More importantly, this role will help design and streamline best in class analytical tools to identify opportunities to improve financial and operational performance across GSC and Royal Caribbean Group. As a member of GSC Planning & Performance Mgmt team, they will be required to collaborate with two departments within GSC including Supply Chain & Travel Services, The role may also be required to collaborate and partner with other teams such as Brand Operations/Finance and Corporate Strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 • Contributes analytical and data support for the development and maintenance of GSC’s Power BI dashboards, automating access and visibility to data across all departments.
• Applies analytics framework to identify opportunities to improve financial and operational performance.
• Quantify performance improvement opportunities through graphs, schedules, dashboards and any other dynamic reporting tools. Offer recommendations and business solutions based on conducted analysis
• Aggregates large data sets in Excel and other analytical tools for analysis. Contributes to data collection discussions, identifying critical information and data sources. Performs research and analysis on large data sets - data exploration, trending, etc.
• Seeks out data driven and process driven improvements cross functionally.
• Support report automation efforts, migrating Hyperion report queries that need to be converted to Power BI, or any manual reports that require automation with analysis
• Determine requirements and business needs to develop new reporting, analytical tools and optimization techniques to develop actionable results and identify opportunities for process improvement. 
• Ability to ”tell the story” and make inferences using complex data & relationships
• Support the creation of presentation decks to provide analytics insights to leadership.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor degree program in Business or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026. 
• Must be willing to be based in South Florida from June 2nd  – August 8th, 2025  
• A minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA is preferred 
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis 

• Ability to seek out improvement opportunities via data analysis and process investigation.

• Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic economic & financial concepts, as well as demonstrate a strong knowledge in Excel or another analytical tools.
• Knowledge of BI dashboard design & SQL highly desirable.
• Ability to collect, consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Ability to work with & manipulate large sets of data and to make recommendations with potential financial impacts.
• Expert working knowledge of Excel. Working knowledge of Word, & PowerPoint, with experience manipulating large data sets 
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in global environment.
• Attention to detail required. 
• Ability to operate in a team environment, with excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once.
• Experience in travel/leisure hospitality is preferred
