eCommerce - Sr Analyst, Marketing Data
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end exploratory data analysis supporting Smart Audience-driven marketing campaigns, in addition to analyzing the results, and making data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance. The candidate should have a strong background in statistics, data analysis, decision science and marketing analytics, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end exploratory data analysis from a wide range of data sources, and define data parameters according to ETL logic.
- Leveraging data exploration and discovery analysis, quantify segments connected to Smart Audience recommendations and A/B tests, and determine sizing thresholds that support statistically significant results.
- Analyze the results of Smart Audience A/B tests using statistical methods to determine statistical significance and identify trends and patterns in the data; this post campaign analysis includes data mining and periodic reporting of results, including succinct presentation of key insights.
- Develop insights and recommendations based on the results of Smart Audience A/B tests to improve campaign performance and achieve marketing objectives, including recommendations on audience selection criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and data science, to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies.
- Use data analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI and Adobe Analytics, in addition to SQL based programming to manipulate and analyze data.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing analytics and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, such as confidence intervals, p-values, and statistical significance.
- Proficient with data analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI and Adobe Analytics, as well as with SQL based programming.
- Demonstrate high-level proficiency in:
- Data management
- Data mining
- Descriptive analysis utilizing an analytics platform (e.g., Power BI, Adobe Analytics)
- Predictive modeling expertise is an added bonus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, while having the willingness to engage with partners across the organization.
- Creative thinking skills and ability to develop new ideas to improve campaign performance.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, including capabilities to assess current situation, draw conclusions and envision future optimization opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
