Specialist, Trade Mkt Comm Lacar

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will oversee the overall communications sent to the trade and internal team. Main activities will require to follow the yearly promotional calendar for the Royal Caribbean brand, branding support, translations, approvals, project management and full knowledge of the brand.

 

Responsible for leading and executing all internal and external communications; implementation and delivery of all Consumer Royal Caribbean Brand activity and ensuring that all campaigns are integrated across channels in the region.

All of this with the only purpose to increase sales performance and revenue in the market growing year by year.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all Trade and internal communications in the market.
  • Create and communicate Promotional Calendar to the market.
  • Assist Trade Marketing with promotional material approvals.
  • Provide feedback and approve Top Accounts assets.
  • Guide Account Executives in Latin America about new itineraries, promotions, and brand activity overall.
  • Create reports in both Spanish and English
  • Assist, execute and support Trade Shows in the market and any other activations, when needed.
  • Ensure that the brand continues to maintain the strong profile within the trade channel and that campaigns are innovative, impactful and integrated.
  • Marketing checkups to have brand consistency in the market.
  • Own Trade website for Latin American travel agents; audit, content and changes
  • Support events, trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns, including budget.
  • Support Trade Marketing Manager’s admin duties

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 -3 years of experience working within a B2B or B2B2C marketing environment, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Educated to a degree level with a professional qualification in marketing.
  • Proven ability to manage and implement diverse marketing campaigns including press, POS, DM, digital (mainly social)
  • Agency management
  • Experience with PR and journalists.
  • Travel Industry experience preferred.
