Royal Caribbean Group’s Talent Acquisition team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Recruiter I reporting to the Dir, Shipboard Recruiting.
This role will work onsite in Mexico City
Job Description and Responsibilities
This position works with our on-the-ground recruitment team in Mexico, along with Operations, Executive Leaders and HRBPs to execute recruiting strategies for positions supporting RCI Private Destinations. The Recruiter is responsible for position fulfillment, requisition and candidate management ensuring the effectiveness of the recruiting process, executing sourcing plans, and overall sourcing strategies and providing insight to leadership regarding the talent market as well as seeking out opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recruiting all positions for entry level, mid-level, up to senor level roles.
- Works with hiring managers and HRBPs to review and understand the forecasted needs for talent acquisition, as well as responding to just-in-time requests.
- Executes sourcing strategies and methods to develop proactive talent pools that align with both the short and long-term needs of the business.
- Manages workflow and comply with recruitment KPI and SOPs along with maintaining documentation as per company policies and processes.
- Responsible for evaluating candidates using competency-based interviewing techniques and providing recommendations of best fit candidates to hiring managers. May also make hiring decisions for some entry level roles.
- Compiles metrics and prepares various reports that measure the effectiveness of recruiting and staffing processes, as well as sourcing strategies
- Executing and attending various recruitment events.
- Staying current with market trends to adjust recruiting approach accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in full cycle recruiting
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or HCM technology
- Knowledgeable in recruiting automation, web-based technology
- Proficiency of computers and Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Effective communicator with proven ability to conduct interviews and assess of talent.
- Proficient in building relationships internationally and externally
- Ability to travel
Skills and Competencies:
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage candidates and managers of different backgrounds and culture
- Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient at communicating effectively and tactfully across different levels
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work activities and execute multiple take simultaneously
- Ability to take initiative and use sound judgment and decision-making
