Royal Caribbean Group’s Talent Acquisition team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Recruiter, Sr reporting to the Dir, Shipboard Recruiting.
This role will work onsite in Mexico City office
Position Summary:
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for recruiting for all positions within their assigned business unit. As a Senior Recruiter you will directly recruit for supervisory/management positions and support recruitment efforts for difficult and niche roles within Shipboard Operations. The Senior Recruiter will compile and deliver data analysis on recruitment effectiveness, pipeline and sourcing campaigns, and provide consultation to leadership regarding the labor market relative to their respective business unit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for internally and externally recruiting all positions within the assigned business unit outlined above, up to and including Leadership/Manager level roles.

Works with hiring managers and HRBPs of assigned business unit(s), to review and understand the forecasted needs for talent acquisition, as well as responding to just-in-time requests.

Manages sourcing tactics and methods to proactively develop talent pools that align with the needs of the business

Actively sources passive candidates using sourcing tools, Boolean searches, networking, referrals and cold calling techniques

Manages work and complies with recruitment SOPs maintaining documentation as per company policies and processes keeping all systems up to date in real-time

Responsible for compiling a potential candidate long-list conducting competency-based telephone &/or skype interviewing techniques and providing short-list of best fit candidates to hiring leaders

Compiles metrics and prepares various reports that measure the effectiveness of corporate recruiting and staffing processes, as well as sourcing strategies

Hosts presentations and training for hiring leaders as needed

Staying current with current recruiting and market trends and adjust recruiting strategy accordingly

Provides new recruiter and refresher training to recruitment team as needed

Perform any other job-relate duties assigned by their supervisor or management
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of successful recruitment experience within a large and global organization; recruiting for Shared Services or Hospitality Industry required. Experience in volume/ bulk recruiting a plus

Proven expertise with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)

Ability to manage small-medium scale projects, ensuring their teams complete all projects on time and within budget.

Demonstrated capability to recruit positions in various levels of the organization (entry to senior level)

Proven ability in performing full cycle recruitment. Source, interview and screen candidates (management, specialty and high-volume roles)

Strong interviewing and talent assessment skills; ability to understand and further the organization’s business objectives and employee performance objectives

Demonstrated ability to apply judgment to ambiguous or out-of-policy situations; attention to detail and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve complex problems with a variety of variables. Ability to analyze large datasets and report relevant findings.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing. Experience and ability to discuss with and influence leadership teams, manage relationships, as well as to collaborate with and influence various clients, stakeholders, department heads and related teams

Working knowledge of accepted human resources recruitment practices

Ability to acquire knowledge of recruitment processes in various countries

Ability to negotiate terms and conditions with candidates within established guidelines
-
Ability to follow strict compliance with company processes, procedures and regulations

Social Media savvy – strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and will work along with the Recruitment Marketing team to boost digital posts with specific keywords to push for better visibility

Ability to productively work under tight time constraints and stressful situations

Travel may be required

Ability to read, write and speak in English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, co-workers, and shipboard employees
Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of accepted human resource practices and all applicable laws governing employment and fair treatment of employees

Knowledge of general shipboard functions on a cruise ship, and the general concept of the shipboard organization preferred.

Knowledge of world geography, time differences and demographic

Demonstrates consistent dedication to candidates, business leaders, hiring managers, recruiting team members and the broader team

Proficiency of computers and Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Strong Excel skills required.

Exceptional attention to detail

Solid experience with Applicant Tracking Systems

Prior work with PeopleSoft or other HRIS Enterprise Resource Planning System preferred
Physical Demands:

The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, possibly travel domestic and international, and work in shipboard functions. A high noise level is possible if visiting shipboard or offsite locations.
