Royal Caribbean Group’s International Marketing team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time E-commerce Content Producer reporting to the Manager, E-commerce experience.
This position will work on-site in Royal Caribbean’s Mexico office from Monday to Thursday. Friday is a remote work-from-home day.
Position Summary:
The Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) Account Executive E-Commerce Content Producer plays a vital role in enhancing our online presence and driving engagement across multiple global markets. This position is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) webpages to create an intuitive and compelling user experience that aligns with Royal Caribbean’s brand vision. By collaborating closely with the ecommerce and brand teams, the E-Commerce Content Producer ensures that all web content not only meets high aesthetic and functional standards but also resonates with diverse international audiences.
In addition to content management, this role is integral to our overarching international marketing strategy, focusing on delivering tailored content that meets the unique needs and preferences of customers in different regions. The E-Commerce Content Producer will also support the implementation of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and leverage analytics to maximize visibility and effectiveness, ultimately driving web conversions and engagement. This position is essential for fostering a seamless digital experience that enhances customer satisfaction and supports Royal Caribbean Group’s global commercial objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, edit, optimize, publish, test, and maintain AEM webpages and content, collaborating with the ecommerce team and brand representatives.
- Transform design concepts into AEM webpages using existing components or custom HTML and CSS, ensuring alignment with brand standards, SEO, and UX best practices.
- Oversee and prioritize multiple projects of varying complexity in a dynamic environment, demonstrating agility in project management.
- Collaborate with the Manager to define project scope, strategy, and technical requirements for web content initiatives.
- Manage assigned content projects from initiation through publishing, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Conduct audits of content and AEM components, including experience fragments and configurations, to identify risks and opportunities, and work with the Web Content Manager to create a strategy to address these.
- Lead research and initiatives related to AEM and content that align with broader ecommerce strategies.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of site content to ensure it aligns with marketing strategies and guidelines.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to develop enhancement stories for web functionality involving content updates or AEM component configurations.
- Test AEM components, authoring tools, and platform features; perform QA, troubleshoot issues, document defects, and escalate as needed.
- Create comprehensive training materials for AEM users and facilitate onboarding for new team members.
- Manage diverse content workflows while adhering to Brand, Style Guidelines, and approved messaging.
- Take ownership of tasks from start to finish as directed by the Manager.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- College degree required, bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Strong project management skills, detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities required.
- 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or content development, preferably within an ecommerce environment.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding and working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Web and/or digital content experience with an enterprise ecommerce website.
- Strong knowledge of UX best practices and Adobe Suite.
