Royal Caribbean Group’s International Marketing team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time CRM Front End Email Specialist reporting to the Manager, Ecommerce Experience.
This position will work on-site in Royal Caribbean’s Mexico office from Monday to Thursday. Friday is a remote work-from-home day.
Position Summary:
The Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) CRM Front End Email Specialist is integral to the day-to-day management and execution of CRM campaigns in support of Royal Caribbean Group’s (RCG) international commercial business strategy. This position is primarily responsible for implementing and executing global and multi-language CRM programs supporting RCG’s ticket, casino, and pre-cruise product sales. The CRM Account Executive will be responsible for setting up and executing CRM marketing campaigns while collaborating with key stakeholders across the global organization.
In addition, this role will manage email communications, including flash sales, welcome-triggered emails, cart abandonment notifications, and behavioral communications such as targeted offers. A strong functional knowledge of HTML coding, ownership of email marketing campaigns, and a detail-oriented focus are crucial for success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Lead, CRM International, to project manage CRM marketing initiatives aligned with Royal Caribbean's commercial strategy and the international email calendar. Projects include, but are not limited to, Flash Sale support, Go-To-Market strategies, loyalty programs, lifecycle emails, cart abandonment communications, and targeted offers for international markets.
- Work cross-functionally with Go-To-Market and commercial teams, vendors, and regional teams to ensure the successful execution and alignment of CRM campaigns with broader commercial goals.
- Consolidate, communicate, and manage all issues and risks affecting CRM projects. Accurately communicate project status to participants and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams for creative assets, copy requests, and language translations, ensuring deadlines are met and content is aligned with brand messaging.
- Analyze program performance metrics in collaboration with cross-functional teams, reporting on activities, key performance indicators (KPIs), and insights that support commercial strategy.
- Audit and update lifecycle communications for international markets as requested to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
- Audit and update cart abandonment and behavioral communications, such as targeted offers for international markets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create and implement a CRM A/B testing methodology to optimize email marketing performance, driving opens, clicks, and bookings.
- Manage ad-hoc requests from the business for international guests, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Partner with all Integrated Marketing teams to ensure holistic execution, alignment with the full consumer journey, and consistent, optimized brand communications and experiences.
Qualifications:
- College degree required; bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred, or equivalent directly related experience.
- Strong project management skills, detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, user experience, content development, or analytics, particularly in CRM and email marketing contexts.
Knowledge and skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience building cross-functional relationships in medium to large organizations.
- Knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with responsive email design and front-end development is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a significant advantage.
- Proficient in editing and resizing images and content assets in Photoshop.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with JIRA.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to support business objectives.
- Excellent attention to detail along with strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
- Familiarity with various online marketing concepts, best practices, and procedures.
- Passionate about the cruise/travel industry, eCommerce, and CRM.
