Account Executive, Inside Sales

The inside sales executive is responsible of maximize Royal Caribbean International profitability, search for commercial opportunities at an acceptable cost for the company and provide support to the commercial team.

The role is responsible for achieving the Guest, Revenue and NRY targets across the total account portfolio. Managing marketing investment and other budgets to maximize return on investment. Participate in the development of the commercial strategy through the use of analytical and statistical tools that generate data for the interpretation of Accounts performance trends and facilitate executive decision-making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identify high potential business opportunities, develop action plans, technology and platforms necessary to carry out them, also business plans and organize sales team commercial activities processes.
  2. Diagnose needs and develop strategic commercial action plans for assigned portfolio.
  3. Tracking of execution of strategic sales growth plans.
  4. Resolution and follow-up of operational requests from customers and Sales Team to facilitate the achievement of customized sales goals and Key Performance Indicators.
  5. Creating awareness in Travel Partners on Royal Caribbean products and its most effective sales tools, services, and programs.
  6. Maintain a high level of expertise on the company’s product and processes and utilize in a consultative sales approach to generate incremental business opportunities.
  7. Promote and supervise awareness of company strategy and targets (paxes & NRY) through constant communication of data and achievement of established goals of each account under responsibility.
  8. Secure sales targets for the Sales Team and assigned portfolio of accounts and the efficient use of budgets available.
  9. Actively participate in the evaluation of new distribution channels through the review of Travel Agencies with cruise sales potential.
  10. Communicate effectively with Travel Partners, understand their needs and ensure a fluid sales process, capable of closing sales and meeting corporate goals.
  11. Analyze account performance data to present compelling commercial propositions to key accounts and effectively project future performance.
  12. Own the co-op marketing budgets and other budgets ensuring maximum return on investment across the accounts.
  13. Create compelling and persuasive trade communications to drive sales.
  14. Responsible for competitive intelligence gathering and providing upwards feedback

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • University degree
  • Office Package proficiency (Excel and Word)
  • 3+ years of experience in the sales industry
  • Experience in the tourism industry
  • Advanced English Level
