Senior Analyst, Product Health
Royal Caribbean International is seeking a highly skilled Captive Portal Sr. Analyst to support and optimize our onboard Wi-Fi network across our fleet of cruise ships. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, data flow, and core networking principles to ensure seamless connectivity and an optimal guest experience.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support the captive portal system that manages guest and crew Wi-Fi access onboard.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance to enhance the user experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve authentication processes, security protocols, and system integrations.

Monitor data flow, network traffic, and overall system health to identify and resolve issues proactively.

Implement best practices for network security and compliance with maritime connectivity standards.

Work with vendors and internal teams to deploy updates, patches, and new configurations.

Provide technical documentation and training for onboard IT staff.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong understanding of networking architecture, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, etc.), and data flow principles.

Experience with captive portal solutions, authentication methods, and Wi-Fi network optimization.

Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, packet analyzers, and monitoring systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with remote support for a global fleet.
Preferred Skills:

Certifications (nice to have): CCNA, CCST, or similar networking credentials.

Experience in maritime or hospitality Wi-Fi networks is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
