Role Overview:

In coordination with the Operations Manager, guarantee that the Sales and Marketing Automation (S.M.A.) systems are effectively managed to drive revenue growth.

The position is responsible for leading all activities that arise from any business requirement, whether they are incidents, new features or major projects.

The role ensures tight alignment between Brand and parent company technology teams and is part of the planning and executing team for medium and long-term strategies for the development of the infrastructure, including the integration of new technologies and the retirement of obsolete systems.

The role must interact with other technology and data teams to coordinate all activities that are released into production, verifying that the impacts are always in line with the system capacity and service levels towards the business.

Supports test cases definition and coordinates certification activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the software architecture, code review and managing technical resources in line with the group policies and priorities defined in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Responsible for the preparation, maintenance and update, in collaboration with the Operations Manager, of all development and/or test environments necessary for ongoing projects.
  • The position is responsible for ensuring that security policies are respected in all projects, from analysis to deployment.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to meet defined timelines for development projects in order to support business growth.
  • In coordination with the Operations Manager, will plan and manage technical S.M.A. resources effectively, ensuring that projects and daily operations are adequately staffed, coordinating both internal and vendors resources.

 

Job Requirements and/or Qualifications expected

Education:     Degree or higher in Information Technology or Computer Science

Years of experience:     15+ in a similar role or related area

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Project management skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and design thinking skills with an end-to-end vision.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills to ensure a contributory approach between different stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of RDBMS, application servers and in general IT best practices for their administration.
  • Ability to oversee cross-functional and cross-departmental projects and processes
  • Vendor management experience; negotiation skills

Language skills:

  • Proficient in English language (high level of comfort with the use of the English language in both spoken and written form)
  • Italian proficiency is considered as a preferred trait for the position.
