Job Summary

The Business Administrator will be based in Cyprus, whilst supporting Europe’s first ever Royal Beach Club in Santorini.

You will assist and support the Royal Caribbean International fleet in project management, reporting, and process improvement.  Additionally, the position will produce reports used to track both ship personnel and ship overall ratings and performance throughout the year. This position is also responsible for the ongoing development, coordination and maintenance of the company’s SOPs for the Royal Caribbean brand within Hotel Operations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates various reports and presentations to measure progress and success and ensure consistency throughout the fleet
  • Establishes and implements changes and deletions into the designated Hotel Operations SQM Manuals, ensures that the proper formats are used, and proper approvals are obtained prior to publishing updated content
  • Subject Matter Expert on all key high-level initiatives and projects and acts as facilitator for review of all related Hotel Operations Policies and Procedures
  • Recommends improvements and drafts proposals to operational policies and procedures within SQM or company brand standards
  • Identifies and implements policies and procedures with shipboard teams
  • Assists projects including, but not limited to Product Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Management Continuity, Brand Standards, Ship transition planning, Ship hand-over assignments and other ongoing management projects
  • Coordinates projects creates workplans, timelines, milestone trackers, risks and issue logs
  • Perform other duties as required. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management
  • Manages the SharePoint and Homeport for EMEA Hotel Operations


Qualifications / Skills

  • Strong administrative experience within hotel operations
  • Ability to speak, read and write in Greek and English
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Business Management, Hospitality or equivalent is preferred
  • Two (2+) years onboard cruise ship experience and/or shore side experience supporting ships is preferred
  • Experience in project management - Must be detail orientated, and process driven
  • Solid IT skills, including knowledge of Homeport, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time both international and domestic
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships amongst various groups of individuals, across a multi-cultural departmental environment
  • Possess solid planning skills and the ability to teach, council and train staff
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manual
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and customers
